A motherboard a year keeps your VRM's in fear.

>Needs a Z390 to work properly or the VRM's explode
>Needs a £100+ cooler
>$540+ CPU Only a few percent faster than a $390 8700K
>Runs like a furnace
>Requires a high end PSU to run
>Barely overclocks and will brn your house down if you try
>Will easily get beaten by upcoming Threadripper 2920X for a similar price in productivity workloads
>'BUT ONLY GAMES MATTER!'
>Barely even does that better than the 8700K
>Requires a high end GPU like a RTX 2080 Ti to even show that performance difference...
>and only at 1080P (who the fuck would buy a 9900K for 1080P anyhow?)
>Overall cost to performance ludicrous when you can buy a 2700X or even a 8700K far cheaper.
>'WHAT ARE YOU POOR?'
>No. Just not stupid or a whale that does not care about money anyhow.
>Availability is shit even if I wanted to buy it
>Zen 2 only a few months away
AMD giggling intensifies

i am new to pc building and have no clue what you just said, how can i go about learning whatever the fuck you just said? where do i begin this path?

I wonder if the pajeet that wanted to use the 9900k on a $30 used mobo burned down his house yet

It's ok OP.
even Incel shills don't have that kind of money.
It's a 7820X is what it is, and nobody bought that.
Pricepoint is $350 max, and intel will only sell you quad cores at this price.

Intel bad. twice pricier.
I think that's about it.

You can almost build two 2700X systems for the price of ONE 9900k and your house also won't burn down lmao

kek

>You can almost build two 2700X systems for the price of ONE 9900k
Why would anyone want to though?

>Zen 2 only a few months away
you guys been saying this for a long time. just wait for poolaris... wait for poodozer... wait for poodriver... wait for poofury... wait for poozen.. poozen plus.... poozen 2.... POO POO PEE PEE POO POO

Why the fuck would I pay literally twice the price for a processor that offers 10% better performance?

>Incel shills in complete meltdown
>just like their CPUs

Just wait for Zen 2 and watch them go into thermal shutdown

Why would they? They're on 7nm and actually use proper solder.

it's better than having literally no improvements to look towards

I was talking about the Incel shills.

My bad. That's what I get for posting before breakfast

>£380

ok, this is epic

this
im switching to amd for my next build

APOOLOO LAKE

Does not deserve a resonse but here I go anyhow. Ryzen is being released yearly. Just like Intel launches it's main processor lines yearly. So waiting is a year for each iteration. Year on year Intel has released a CPU that barely increased in either IPC, core count or clock speeds. AMD now has a CPU that in just two iterations since launch is now hammering at the door of Intel iun terms of performance and butchering them on value. One more yearly iteration from when Ryzen 2 was released and AMD will literally be on par if not better than Intel not only in terms of actual performance but price due to the high yields AMD gains from their multi-die process. Meanwhile Intel are still plodding along on an ancient monolithic die on it's last gasp in respect to what more can be gained from 14nm+++++++++++++ bingbus. There is no just wait here. It's already happening and Zen 2 will perform the final execution.

>wait for 10nm
>wait for 10nm
>wait for 10nm
>wait for 10nm
>wait for 10nm
>gpoo superpower by 2020

>mfw majority of your points are literally the same just reworded, only like three actual points
>mfw you're just poor

Poor me. Guess I will keep that $1200 and use it for something I actually need. Afterall. Waste not. Want not.

>Needs a £100+ cooler

Its a 95 watt CPU. What are you complaining about, just one of my boxes has dual 130 watt CPUs

It draws 250W overclocked to 5GHz

>something draws more power when you run it out of spec
who cares, it still draws less than my pic

>tdp=power draw
do the world a favor and kindly throw yourself in front of a moving truck

95watt at 3.6ghz brainlet
