KDE leaves a lot of shit on RAM even if you closed it for some reason. On idle after a fresh boot it uses like 400mb only.

That's what I thought when I installed Neon (User Edition, mind), but some updates (KDE and otherwise) actually take LONGER to come to it.
Also, Neon uses all the Plasma defaults, and some of them are "what the hell were you thinking" tier, Kubuntu devs change some of them

MacOS has decent UI/UX, it's the underlying core that is rotten shit.

Pretty satisfied with Manjaro

Had been using Neon for a year, until the recently upgrade broke fucking everything. Quite enjoyed the semi rolling concept and the little bloat it comes with ootb. Since the install shat the bed I have been using Kubuntu 18.04 and it certainly feels more polished and stable.
