Should I get a 75/10mb plan for $30/month,
or a 150/15mb plan for $40/month?

are you retarded?

yes, why do you ask?

75/10 so you don't exceed the data limit as easily :)

>Home internet
>data limit

I have 1Gbps for less than 10 burger$ per month. Why is amerilardia so far behind?

That's some pretty bad upload speed. Can't it at least be 50% of the download speed.

How many users?

75-150mbps wont matter TOO much to a single user unless they download in bulk often.

But if you have 3-4 heavy users, get 150mbps, the difference will be obvious.

It's most likely DOCSIS, so no they just don't have the upstream channels for more upload speed.
This is why I pay for glorious fiber.

The U.S. doesn't have data caps.

i got this for only 17 european pesos

They do and they're third world

i don't know if they have a data cap, but yeah they're third world

If you're budget conscious(some third worlder/neet with limited budget) and have no real use for 150/15mb, get 75/10mb.

I'd assume the $10 would feed a weeks' worth of food for you in that situation.

>i don't know if they have a data cap
depends on the ISP and location in the country.

I am in the US with uncapped 1gbps fiber.

>not paying 20$ a month for 500/500

are you a speedlet OP ?

Found the gypsy (romanian)

Where in the US can I find cheap internet speeds? I'm being raped in the ass paying $40 for 10 Mbps download internet.

HELP Jow Forums

Move to a major city or a suburb of a major city on the coasts.

Specifically the north east US is the best area.

Gigabit internet for $70-90/month and 100mbps internet for under $50/month.

In all honesty anything over 50 won't be noticeable unless you stream above 1080p or have a large family.

or do more than one thing at the time

I'm ukrainian, dumbass.

Reminder that Ukranians (Russian satellite nation) need to be rangebanned

>cheaper than Romania
impossible

probably some new customer discount or paired with cellphone service or some shit to make it cheaper.

Or being subsidized by school or the a building owner or similar situation.

yeah new customer stuff, it's up to 20 after the first year if i remember well, so it's still quite fair
i live in baguette land btw

Well this is a VPS and it's outside the country :^)

cлaвa yкpaїнi!

It goes up to 33€ after 12 months, not 20€

It's basically half off for you right now.

i just checked, my contract say 23.99, must have been changed since i subscribed
that said even 33 is better than most operators in france

>suburb of a major city on the coasts
I already am.

Which companies offer such a good speed?
Verizon offers it for $40 100Mbps but they only guarantee that price for a year.
Optimum offers the same for 200Mbps but not sure if they offer that price forever.
Other offers aren't nearly as good as a deal. But I rather pay something cheaper for a somewhat okay speed like 50 Mbps

For internet only the 100mbps from verizon goes from $40/month to $55/month after 12 months.

BUT for 300mbps and 1gbps, it stays the same $60, and $80 respectively. For at least 2 years, and a full 3 years for gigabit.

...

Nvm. It ain't offered in my area.

Regardless I rather pay $20 per month for 50 Mbps than pay $60 for 300mbps or $80 1gbps since I won't need that much speed.

Yeah, but for a family of 4 or 5 heavy internet users, 1gbps locked in for 3 years at $80/month is great. Single users get fucked on pricing though.

And that's me. Feelsbadman
