That's the 9900k on a stock intel cooler.

> B-B-But mah overpriced i9-9900K!

>32 core
too bad most applications are only programmed to utilize a single thread. so how does its single-thread performance compare to Intel's best single-thread performance?

>OSs and software have started being multicore compatible for a decade
>literally the only argument intel has left
you guys sure are desperate

>t. corelet

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Why does Intel not only sell 1 core CPUs? Why does the 9900k have 8 cores when that's useless?

How good is it at arma 3?
The 1950x was pretty shit at 4ghz with 3200mhz ram when running yaab with low settings.

>applications
>single-thread performance
This thread doesn't seem to be about phones.

My PC is an UFO in all categories.
feels good man

>How good is it at arma 3?

I don't know last time I tried to play this shitty game I stopped after 5 minutes.
It's complete shit

>principled technologies

>shitty game
AMD owner confirmed.

Can you run yaab though, and post video?

why would I do that?

It was running at like 15 fps on my [email protected] with 2400@CL14 DDR3 memory. Didn't even bother trying it on my current ryzen rig lmao.

It runs fine but the game itself sucks

That kills the jew? I thought it was the zyklon.

Post yaab results.

how do I run it?
do I have to install it again?

>15fps/[email protected]
I got better fps with my phenom II @3.9ghz with 1600mhz case 9 ddr3. Are you sure that you aren't lying your ass off user?

Does someone still play that?

>do I have to install it again
Naturally you would have to.

I'm still playing ARMA 2 OA because my friends are in college and don't have the funds to afford a computer that will run ARMA 3 well.
I don't understand how they managed to make the game run so poorly.

Player base went down, but it's still ranked 27 most players off of steam.

That's not a very big margin over my 2700X.
This is just running with board limits disabled and really good air cooling, and a -50mV undervolt.

>1900MB/S
>my shitty Chinkton drive barely does 250

What system do you have now?
An i3, or pentium could run that game at playable settings. Even better if your CPU is unlocked.
Also modded arma 2 is still fun if you can ever find a full server to play on.

It seems to run OK on my machine, but I never play it because my friends don't.
I've got an i7-4790k with an RX-480. I'm out of school and could buy a 1080Ti, but haven't because I have no reason to.

My ARMA friends have something like the following:
>i5-2500k with 1060 3GB
>some laptop with 940m

not going to happen any time soon then.

>i5-2500k
They're not willing to oc? They seem like they would be able to handle arma 3 with those specs, and a little CPU oc.
>not going to happen any time soon then.
Wasn't expecting you to install it honestly.
It's illegal to post arma yaab benchmarks online for ryzen owners.

He's not good with computers at all... I had to un shit his machine about a week ago, I wouldn't want to be responsible for supporting an overclock.

I'm going to give him my proc/mobo/ram here soon, as I need a different sized mobo and figured I might as well upgrade when Ryzen 3000 series comes out.

>15fps
>[email protected].
Be honest it's probably the fps that you got with
>1800x

Not sure why it says my average boost is 3.95, all core load max boost is at a little over 4.2 for me. thermals don't survive prime95 for more than 10 minutes at PE4 though, don't have a custom loop. but it never goes higher than ~65c in gaming loads so for my purposes it's stable
ram is at 3333cl14
cinebench at 1870

Can you bench an arma 3? Like this
