How to fuck I can find retro looking cases these days? It needs to be a new case however that can fit inside new components like Ryzen.
Which, being standard ATX, wouldnt be a hard thing. But no cases are colored like the ones in the old times. And their style is also somewhat different even disregarding the colors.
the cooling in these will fuck your shit up user, they arent made for modern components, so unless you're ready to grab the drill and rice it up a bit just for for a modern non GAYMER case
It's a work in progress, about 50 percent completed, all the components are in and the wiring is sort of tucked. I've got some fans cut into it now but more are coming. I have to fab up a hard drive rack of some sort, and the second watercooling loop for whatever 7nm AMD card drops next year. It will get another 360 radiator for the graphics card.
Has a Gigabyte R9 290x 4gb. The 1950x has seen 4.1ghz. It does 1080p ultra settings on all AAA games. 32gb RAM, 2x NVMe Samsung EVO 860 in bootable RAID0. Win10 Pro w/W10 Privacy. It's pretty damn quick.
I built my first sleeper in the Athlon XP days, stuffed an XP2600 into a Gateway G6-366 microATX tower. Fan mods. I got another one and I'm planning a Ryzen build for it once this one is finished.
This is the radiator setup now. It has a push-pull setup right now this is an older pic.
yeah I know, but I do a lot of gaymen with it. I'm going to step it up to 6x EVO 860 250gb bootable RAID0 and when I do I'm going to attempt a dual boot Loonix / Windoze setup
I planned on cutting in the 360 rad probably on the floor of the case, or on the ceiling, the other option I have considered is those two 80mm fans on the back, are server fans with very very high CFM but can be turned down to near silent, I thought about cooling the GPU with two solid copper 80mm rads one on each fan mounted on the back. I have a pair of 150mm server fans that can push themselves across the floor I planned to get positive case pressure.

old school cold cathode, tried to keep the case mods old school too instead of meme RGB
some other former greatness I built. 98SE, P3 1ghz, Voodoo 5500 PCI, SCSI stack
