particle simulations were solved long ago and are thus boring to true intellectuals
youtube.com
>particle system
t. brainlet.
theres already an emacs plugin for rivers you dolt
does is look as good and work in real time?
>pooters are continuous
this is more than just a particle system you mongoloid
first of all yes it looks beautiful it is a TUI. if you need a GUI you should probably hop ship and go full candy-brain with OSX
second of all how fucking dare you insinuate any gnu software has EVER worked, in real, fake, or any other possible time.

show me nigger.

kek, I like you.
this is more about fluid simulation.
Because I'm more about useful stuff.
you will never make something as useful as the one in OP.
>inb4 too brainlet to realize how useful it is.
Fluid simulation is useful in many scenarios outside of games. The fact you even made that suggest you have a very limited imagination.
>you will never make something as useful as the one in OP.
Unlikely
True, but the thing shown in OP seems to be a graphics showcase and too simple for actual fluid simulations.
it's for use in realtime application you mongoloid. it's also already used in commercial products.
>it's for use in realtime application
so, in other words, useless
>it's also already used in commercial products.
>can't name one
It's not nice lying on the internet.
>so, in other words, useless
learn to google the name of the guy
Source on the video? I know it's from 80.lvl but who posted it? This stuff is just up my alley user and I'm interested in knowing more
read the video description.
Is that imgui?
Or nuklear
Yeah, I found it. Jean-Philippe Grenier, works in Ubisoft Montréal.
Because it doesn't matter. Nothing matters. I'll still be 6ft under in 60 years.
>particle simulations were solved
since when
this shit is too slow to use in video games or real time applications
you can only simulate a very small area like in the video
t. beta cuck nihilist
>being this wrong
this shit is literally made to be used in video games you mongoloid. it's not completely simulated. also, already used in Ubisoft games.
hahaha the absolute state
I thought it was a full particle simulation
I think it looks cool OP. I'm trying to work on a sand one myself. I'm a huge brainlet so it might take a few years but I do this for fun.
