Repost I finally bought a SSD, installed everything and now I realize there's an update (firmware) available. I'm using it as my main OS/drive, the old one is now gone.
Should I update anyway? I can only find the lasted update notice, so don't know the entire changelog.

Is it possible to install a GNU/Linux distro in a Nexus 7 2013 and use it for coding (c++)?
I was thinking installing arch Linux, g++ and vim using this manual archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=5192.
