How does Jow Forums manage their anime?

I just have them in two separate folders, so nothing special.

I just put them in the trash

I have a separate plex server just for my weeb shit. I just put it all there.

Download, watch, and delete.

Go back to Chink Shit Thread retard.

what os is that?

mine are stored across 4 partitions and 2 4tb drives. Not raid bc space. They're then backed by a database, which indexes and abstracts the physical storage, so they're all easily searchable. I also set up streaming, even over the open web. Obviously this has security concerns, so I did some pretty good hardening. Private key, etc, but went ahead and moved it to it's own CentOS virtual machine, running with qemu+kvm for near native performance.

The setup is pretty damn overkill but I horde data and it's been solid job experience building it.

I just put it all in one folder

it's more porn than anime mind you, but still counts :')

Looks like standard GNU/Linux.

this

this question hurts me. Shouldn't you be asking what desktop environment, user? Or what display/window manager?

It seems like you don't understand basic shit about technology here.

Arch Linux + Openbox
FM is pcmanfm.

The file manager looks like Thunar, so it could be any of the UNIX-like OSes (Linux, BSD etc.)

Sounds to me like you've been here for two months and just picked up on the lingo

Anime movies stores with normal movies, otherwise anime gets its own folder

sounds to me like you're a fucking idiot. I'd hope any person on Jow Forums would understand basic OS concepts, like what linux actually is and how it works.

but you don't, so please just kill yourself
>unironically believing that the look and feel of a system is related to its operating system
>not understanding what an operating system even is
>wasting my oxygen

I want you to go get a base install one day for a linux distro. A good example would be arch. Yeah I know, it doesn't have an installer for you, okay so maybe that will be too hard.

But find something that's a "minimal" installation - ie - it's just the OS. It's not prepackaged with all the shit they slap on to it. And when you get it installed. You'll be presented with a terminal. No gui. Not a terminal emulator. Just a black screen, and text. And yes, it's installed. Because that's what the OS is.

Everything else you slap on top of it, building it up to create your GUI. That is not your OS, that is just software installed on your computer, like anything else. You may choose for your GUI to start automatically on boot, but it doesn't have to.

The above two posts are bait.

>Thinking I haven't done that shit a million times over already
That's how you interpreted my post? Wow LMAO
