Also i use vivaldi and have been using using single key shorcuts since opera 10. I can just flick through my tabs at light speed by holding down "1" or "2" vivaldi has a "hibernate all background tabs" option which is super handy if you have eaten too much ram

Once I have several windows of around 30 or more tabs each, I just copy my history over to bookmarks, and then export my bookmarks to a "20XX-XX-XX History.html" file. Then I delete what I copied into my bookmarks, and start all over again, reminding myself that there's no reason to keep the tabs open through weeks of session restores if I'm just going to dump them anyways.

I’d also like to know that. It’s understandable that someone opens ~20 tabs temporarily, but it really gets a pain to manage once the tabs start truncating and I just can’t understand how anyone can stand being permamently in that state. I’d go fucking insane if I had to deal with dozens of tabs being there all the time on daily vasis.

I make a new profile when Firefucks starts getting too slow to open for "quick" things telling myself it'll be temporary but then tabs just start building up there too
I have 2 profiles with 300+ tabs each and I'm on my 3rd
My issue is that most them feel neither important enough to bookmark nor meaningless enough to close (thoughts while I'm accumulating them - obviously in retrospect, the fact that I have 600ish tabs that I haven't needed or cared to miss for 3 months probably means something)

There should be an AI that determines what should be kept open and what shouldn't. And when I need to find it, it should be able to find it instantly with a simple word, or date, or even keyword related to it.

At most I'd have like 20 tabs open, spread in groups across 2 or 3 browser windows utilizing a 3x3 virtual desktop grid for ease of access. I close unused tabs almost immediately when it's getting too cramped. After all, what is Ctrl-Shift-T?

Usually when Firefox is using more than 10 of my 16GB or RAM. Usually between FF the 1-2GB for system overhead and the other 4-5GB that other programs are using my system will grind to a halt and start running real slow until I close Firefox. I don't usually mass bookmark though. I either start a new browser session with no tabs or x out of tabs I don't care about one by one. Goes pretty quick usually, typically about half are porn and another 20-25% are dead Jow Forums threads and I just kill all that stuff without thinking about it. When I've got it down to under 20 tabs or so I just restart the browser and reload those tabs. Rinse and repeat.
