Only a retard would use AUR.

I use yaourt with no problems

Good thread

pacaur

trizen

aurman just works

git clone
makepkg

This

dont use the aur

if you are going to be a retard and use the aur anyway, just use git and makepkg

How do you deal with updating your packages?
I keep the repos and once a week do a git fetch on each one of them, but I'm sure that there must be a better way.

Pacaur is good enough.

Also, install NixOS.

When you're so stupid you don't know how to use arch wiki to find new aur helper...

When you're so stupid you don't know how to use aur without a helper...

Flatpak and snap

When you're so stupid...

When you're you so you're stupid...

Put them in the same dir and run a script that goes through each subdirectory to check for updates and do necessary shit if there's an update

Stop using AUR helpers.

What good is slackware if one just uses slack build or whatever it's called to auto retrieve dependencies?

Well, pakku, I guess, since it has all the features. Also works fast, written in Nim.
