You know what RPi has that this thing doesn't? Support.
Christian Mitchell
No Pi has ever needed more than 2 cores
Kevin Ward
Does it have a NIC separate from the USB bus?
Brayden Wilson
>A serious contender for Raspberry Pi3 We've had them for years. Odroid, orange, banana, etc. raspberry is a complete meme at this point.
Nathan Barnes
actually yes
Robert Morales
This.
Isaiah Brooks
that's all most people need to know nobody wants to use a raspberry pi for compute they just want a machine that runs on 10W with standard I/O interfaces and has a GOOD network connection.
i cannot believe people pay more for a fucking pi that is shittier than a shitty fucking smartphone that's the same price this is what the world has become.
Wyatt Howard
>a GOOD network connection the pi doesn't have that
Liam Johnson
Go away pajeet, go sponsor your shit somewhere else.
Ethan Moore
Bullsit. My rpi3 has 4 cores
Dylan Murphy
I'm too brown to read that language.
David Clark
rpi4 will blow all these scrubs out of the water. Smaller die, more memory, beter architecture, beter cpu&gpu. Better bluetooth&wifi, more connections.
And the majority of them will only be used for kodi. its a joke.
It will fail because no one wants to chase obscure driver errors on boards used by a dozen people. No one uses a fucking pi for performance anyway.
I had to develop software for nvidia jetson, trust me on this one.
Blake Green
why would you put 2 shitty CPU's instead of just one 4-6 core one, is such a waste of money
Lincoln Gonzalez
>AES-NI >dual GbE I wonder if this thing could handle Gbit NAT, it might have all it takes to make a nice router out of it. No idea how fast that CPU is though.
Austin Robinson
Yeah, I got the news of H2 too. Big fan of Odroid. I read the price will be between 100 and 150. Closer to 150 but not over it. Still, it packs a whole shitload of power and features for such a small device. I see endless possibilities with it
Joseph Reed
I wouldn't do it. They won't even tell you what model of NIC they're using.
Hunter Jenkins
You tried and blew it. Time to shill for BeagleBoards again.
Lucas Wilson
What ideals I loved about the pi were pretty simple. 1. Small but can accept add-ons. 2. Cheap. Under $50 is key. 3. Open source type of system. I personally only now care for a faster but just as cool CPU, 1+ gb ram and usb 3.0+.
Carson Foster
when you can't even watch videos properly without kodi then yes of course that's what's going to happen
Brandon Smith
This. I built a security business off the back of rock64 and wyze cam.
Adam Fisher
x86 isn't a good thing.
Josiah Russell
people use x86 because of AES-NI, because pfSense is built to require it. If you forked pfSense to run on POWER9 or an open source RISC-V implementation and use their crypto extensions then I would have absolutely no problem buying a board like that.
Oliver Stewart
Its like where in the damn 80's when it comes to SBCs It doesn't fucking matter if there is a billion better Pis for cheaper the Raspberry Pi is what caught on and thus has the largest ecosystem and the masses are still going to flock to it because of that ecosystem.
Aaron Reyes
There's been hundreds of different single board computers with better price and performance than the Raspberry Pi. They never catch on. People don't buy these things for the system specs like they're a gaming rig. They buy them because they're supposed to be educational and "cool". Something without name recognition and a million copy-pastable example projects can't compete.
Jose Garcia
You should start your own YT tech channel. You have the right mix of bare minimum, yet still uneducated, understanding of tech and a complete lack of self-awareness about how retarded what you say sounds like.
