>old proven Nokia which has very little to do with the original Finnish Nokia
>locked bootloaders except for one device
>manufactured in Foxconn like the majority of other electronics

You can literally put lionage on 2.1

Doesn't seem like it, this is almost entirely empty. And even if it was possible, what about all the other devices besides Nokia 8?
forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-2-1

They announced a port is coming to the 2.1.
Everything upwards uses crappy MediaTek SoCs

>Everything upwards uses crappy MediaTek SoCs
ummm no, sweaty
doesn't matter anyway because no official unlock bootloader except for Nokia 8

anyone else retarded like myself?

i thought Nokia was japanese

Attached: 89457.png (672x656, 383K)

How is this generic rectangle chinkshit with muh Nokia logo slapped onto it to evoke nostalgia any different, boomer?

I'm using a Nokia 8 right now, user.

7 Plus reporting in.

Do you like it?

They are literally the same as being Japanese, my dude.

Because it's No-Kia and Kia is Korean?

Not him but
Yes, I like my nokia 8, shitty camera focus sometimes but overall based phone.

Yes, it's pretty comfy and fast. Haven't had any problems with it. You can actually hold it without accidentally touching the screen.

Nokia is Finnish. It is chinkshit

Nokia is chinkshit nowadays

>little to do with the original Finnish Nokia
It actually is the old Nokia. Old Nokia sold off their R&D to Microsoft. HMD claimed the rest of Nokia Technologies. Microsoft paid HMD licensing fees to use the Nokia branding on their Lumia phones. After Microsoft flopped in the phone market, HMD swooped in and bought the entire R&D team from Microsoft. Everything Nokia related is now owned by HMD. HMD is Old Nokia.

Yeah, it's just that it's not manufactured locally. Face it, Nokia as we know it is in the past.

8 sirocco here

my old nokia phone says made in finland, another one made in jyväskylä

these new ones are made in china and are just generic android phones with nothing that makes them stand out from the chinkshit crowd

Outsourcing manufacturing to China happened already with old Nokia
gigaom.com/2012/02/08/nokia-factories-shift-to-asia-did-it-have-any-choice/

nokia went to shit in 2007 though, this lumia windows phone trash was always trash and nokia never managed to get into touch screen devices

>implying I buy chinkshit

Attached: BB Passport.png (800x661, 212K)

>outsourcing
Didn't some chink company license the brand name? Pretty sure new Nokia's are just chinkshit with a known brand name slapped on

Read what's on the fucking phone

You do. What's even worse is the permanently locked bootloader.

No, I don't. The Passport came out a couple years before that deal. And while an unlocked bootloader would be nice, when BB10OS becomes unusable I'll simply switch to the similar KEY2

>And while an unlocked bootloader would be nice, when BB10OS becomes unusable I'll simply switch to the similar KEY2
And you will gain a device as locked down as your current one, but on Android.

Well yeah

I thought that too until I saw the first transformers movie where John Tutturro makes a joke about a nokia phone that goes something like "gotta respect the Japanese, they know the way of the samurai" to which someone responds "but Nokia's from Finland?"

anyway I was 17 so I get a pass, what's your excuse brainlet?

Clean android as in you don't automatically need to subtract 1500mAh from your battery rating.

>Clean android as in you don't automatically need to subtract 1500mAh from your battery rating.
Uh, what? Most of Xiaomi's devices in the same price range have larger than average batteries as well. Nokia's clean Android is also locked down.

Nokia 2.1 has the largest battery of any android phone in the same pricerange.
>Xiaomi
Yeah take your botnet elsewhere.
>locked down
So what, works better than lineage.

>Nokia 2.1 has the largest battery of any android phone in the same pricerange.

Not really and it also has a 720p screen in 2018. This is not even worth considering.
>Xiaomi
>Yeah take your botnet elsewhere.
I'm sure your Nokia with a locked bootloader can't possibly be a suspect of having some itself. But one of the most developer friendly manufacturers is ironically Xiaomi and you're talking about this.
>locked down
>So what, works better than lineage.
Well, it doesn't when it isn't out yet and when you can't unlock the bootloader to install it if it ever becomes available. I feel like we've been through this.

>Price About 100 EUR About 180 EUR
>Price About 100 EUR About 160 EUR
What a dumb nigger
>not even worth considering
You can read ebooks on it without any problems since the screen is huge.
>suspect of having some itself
Sure just look at the running processes. Plus, it's running name brand components, not some media tek trash.
>it doesn't
Nokia 2.1's specialised minimalistic rom works much more stably and efficiently than crappy old run of the mill lineage. There's nothing in lineage that makes it special.

>Price About 100 EUR About 180 EUR
>Price About 100 EUR About 160 EUR
Yeah, because everyone knows GSMArena is the go to place for smartphone deals and accurate pricing information.
>What a dumb nigger
Yeah, you're clearly serious about all this and now I really want to continue this conversation.
>Sure just look at the running processes
This is not how it works. Decompiling pre-installed software and reverse engineering sounds more like it. It's not worth it to go into this much nuance, since you're already confused after multiple explanations.
>Plus, it's running name brand components, not some media tek trash.
Uh, even OnePlus 5T's Oxygen OS based on AOSP was confirmed to have shady software pre-installed and they've used nothing but Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs.
>Nokia 2.1's specialised minimalistic rom works much more stably and efficiently than crappy old run of the mill lineage
It's not specialized in any way, Motorola, Lenovo and OnePlus among others have done this on their devices based on AOSP. If anything, the UI implementation itself makes phones perform smoother. I never claimed LineageOS is special, it's just as limited in features as any of the aforementioned OEM firmwares.

>accurate pricing
You're right, it's more like 100eur vs 250 eur where I live.
>decompiling
*yawn* paranoid dumbass, nokia 2.1 doesn't heat up on idle like chinkshit, meaning nothing is running in the background. you can at least try making logical sense.
>UI implementation
It's not magic, the OS just uses half what chinkshit does.
>limited in features
So what do you use, a leaked android 10 rom?

Nah, HMD Global is basically old Nokia's mobile phone division, just exists as an separate company now (old Nokia is focusing solely on network solutions). It's still a Finnish company, most of the execs are ex-Nokia employees, and they own or license most of the old Nokia tech and design patents (PureView, PureDisplay, Pro Camera, Ozo audio etc.). Even their HQ is opposite Nokia's.

finns are basically mongol, so you where pretty close with your assumption

You're thinking of either Palm or Motorola.
In Palm's case, yes it is a chink company but the developers are a bunch of s*yboys and Stephen Curry in California.

>old Nokia
You do realize that the old Nokia produced rubber boots, not shitty phones for de/g/enerate ni/g/gers

Don't buy Nokia, anons. I've had my Nokia 6 for a year, took great care of it and then the screen, volume and power buttons died out of nowhere. Fuck that shit, I ended up replacing it with a g5 plus.

If they did it the old way, they wouldn't be able to compete. It's just how things are nowadays.

yeah so instead they make iphone knock offs, making them no different from cheapo chinkshit brands

>don't buy chink shit
>implying nokia isn't from korea

does "nokia" sound english to you? plus their phones are shit, just like their cars

finnish aka european

no, they didn't finish them, they're halfassed
