Why would one be retarded and fall for IT UNI bullshit? I got my first IT job without UNI and that was a year ago.

it's later on in your career that it matters more. (if you want to enter the architect/manager boys club)
she's boring and i'm glad op is posting someone fresh
what certs did you get
Its useless waste of time yeah, but you need that stupid paper they give you.
well yeah you only go to university because you want to go into IT managment. if all you want to get into is basic grunt IT stuff, like help desk, or level 1 or 2 support staff then no, you don't need a degree. usually all you need is the certs which you can get without going to school. or if you want, local community college and just taking the cert classes for training and getting no degree.
you don't unless you either have been brainwashed thinking you do or want to go into managment.
but which certs are good for entry level, I hear A+ is useless now.
Pretty sure it's this bitch. Pic unrelated
but no braces
a+ isn't worthless. it's just you need to pair it up with other ones. like a+ along with net+ and linux+ will get you a nice entry level position managing linux web hosting servers and such. in the phoenix area at least those three will easily land you a job at godaddy. the age of grabbing one cert is over and to be fair its been over since the early 2000's. what employers want now is "well rounded" entry level employees. so you gotta pay up your certifications.
there is a few exceptions though. a ccna will land you job all on its own. rhce is very similar but wouldn't hurt pairing that up with a ccnet or net+ cert. any position you go into frankly you need to have a basic understanding of dns.
>pay up
pair up*
what does this expression mean?
"i'm a whore"
It's an underage tranny
Look up "ahegao"
>am electrical engineer working dead end job
>Want to career change
Is IT a good place to go? Can I just get a CCNA and get a proper job that isn't a wagecuck phoneslave position? Or is there a better way?
it's what happens when a girl is performing a blowjob and looks up at you, except you and your dick are invisible and the camera is on the same level as her face.
Go back there.
Hello Leo, how is midlife crisis?
cute who is she (he)
Yeah CCNA is pretty much a free job. If you get it, upgrade to CCNP though because it's like a free $10k/yr for basically the same certificate.
Also learn to do fucking netconf because that's the future of networking.
His attention seeking on Jow Forums backfired horribly and he killed himself a few weeks ago. Please stop asking about him.
I never left
who?
> ccnet or net+ cert.
Never heard of CC Net before? Is that the one before the CC&A?
Because it gets you a better paying job generally and fulfills requirements.
I've heard people don't want certs like CCNA or especially ccnp without experience though.
