>both have a "minimal" install >both have many packages in their repo >both are rolling release >both have up to date repositories >both are aimed for "expert" users who have to manually configure their system
I'm a Debian user, but their idea of minimal is fucking retarded.
Ayden Moore
Manjaro
Cameron Robinson
and by that, i mean their tasksel groups.
Sebastian James
>arch >maintainers compile every feature and every kernel module available in every package >minimal
Justin Adams
Nice argument. Extremely technical.
Parker Roberts
This. Do not fall for the evil systemD meme level init people.
Jaxon Smith
minimal install != minimal distro
Jaxon Lewis
This.
Their idea of minimal is either unusable "muh proprietary", or bloat out the ass. Nothing inbetween.
Jackson Martinez
IBM Fedora minimal
Connor Gray
>Which one and why? Arch, because they're not code monkeys patching/breaking everything.
Carson King
IDK what debian or archlinux is. I just fuck bitches. Don't have time for nerd shit. ubuntu? the fuck is that? sounds like this nigerian whore I stuffed at the bernie rally. anyways have fun with your os nerd chat. just pass over this obvious bait, since youre all a bunch of smart little fish in my pond.

nah bro, red pilled, ever head of spanish fly? totally redpilled right now
Ayden James
An example of this retarded behavior. Gnome group has a hard dependency on either firefox or firefox-esr. I get that they want users to have a browser, but what the fuck is that nonsense?
Noah Bailey
nah bro, red pilled, ever head of spanish fly? totally redpilled right now
that last comment was supposed to be a reply but as you can see I'm too chadded out to know how to post replies on the first try on an internet forum
Adam Russell
>tfw it's no longer Redhat, but Bluehat Linux.
Nolan Torres
Why don’t you just install one part of those? It’ll install any dependencies alongside that one part
Andrew Ward
Debian sid uses unstable packages and is a broken mess. Not comparable.
No, this. >netinstall >No drivers because muh proprietary >Fuck being actually able to use your wifi for example, right? I don't understand them. They are so anti-proprietary, but if you want to use, for example IceWeasel (by Debian), you have to install Firefox, but that is somehow okay?
I'm all for free software, but this is borderline cognitive dissonance.
Blake Sanchez
You have to go back.
Henry Cox
>swedish of course!
Juan Lewis
just say based and bluepilled they're not contradicting eachother same with cringe and redpilled
>openSUSE Nigger, I'm way too old to learn dealing with patterns and vendor conflicts.
Sebastian Scott
Arch, because it's designed to be used by end users, while Debian Sid is intended for developers. Also, packages are tested for a day or two before going to Arch's stable branch, but there is absolutely 0 testing done before putting a package in Sid
Adrian King
Use Fedora, like a fucking adult you idiots.
Charles Brown
Minimal fedora installed by carefully picking stuff from workstation?
