Let's post disgusting keyboard layouts

Let's post disgusting keyboard layouts.

In my opinion, there's nothing worse than AZERTY:

>Cannot type a single dot without using shift
>Cannot type any number without using shift

Absolutely disgusting

I thought AZERTY was only about letters AZQW.
But this, dear Lord.

what the actual fuck

>Cannot type a single dot without using shift
>Cannot type any number without using shift
That's what the numpad is for :)
The best part is that nobody knows exactly from where the AZERTY layout came from.

ANSI, it's fucking retarded

To be fair, it mostly makes sense for the frogs it was designed for, when you have to type all those dumbass french characters and accents and apostraphes all the time. Though the period and semicolon make no fucking sense whatsoever.

colemak is were its at

ISO Azerty is indeed an abomination created by the french because they wanted to be different than the others. They also forced it into Belgium where the majority of people speak Dutch and should be using qwerty as it works better for typing in Dutch.
Azerty is also absolute ass for programming in any language besides visual basic.

I am a Belgian and I use US ANSI Qwerty.

>not putting side-mirrors on your keyboard

>ISO Azerty is indeed an abomination
You're just salty because you're using the botnet layout

Here's a legitimate Azerty heatmap.

Must be really handy having to reach over your keyboard and move your arm a foot to the left or up to click some keys.

Pic related is objectively the best layout for English.
Keyboard for those who have to hold something big and black in their hands at all times.

Fuck off

>To be fair, it mostly makes sense for the frogs it was designed for, when you have to type all those dumbass french characters and accents and apostraphes all the time
No it really doesn't. A Spanish Qwerty keyboard is wayyy easier to use than this abomination. If you want to type an é, you just type ´ + e. There's no reason to give dedicated keys for these accented characters.

I'm sure that any frog would kill for a Spanish keyboard if they happened to use one.

>fuck off

Did I hit a nerve?
>Designed for typewriters
>Feels like your hands are unneccesarialy dancing all over the keyboard

qwerty is garbage

>There's no reason to give dedicated keys for these accented characters.
There is when it's as commonly used as it is in French.

Who the fuck thought that having to press shift to type a dot was a good idea? They have a dedicated key for ";" instead of ".", when you are like ten times more likely to need a dot lmfao.

>There is when it's as commonly used as it is in French.
"é" is just a normal "e" with an accent. Why would they think that putting a key dedicated to the combination of a letter and an accent instead of a row of numbers is a good idea?

Besides that, it is not even consistent. If you need an "î", you need to press two keys.

>Feels like your hands are unneccesarialy dancing all over the keyboard
Is that supposed to be bad?

And I thought that QWERTZ was bad lol

Also, they have both a key dedicated just to an accent (´) and multiple keys for accented characters. What is the point of that?

"Butterfly cake"
It just dies as you watch at it.

Yes, its incredibly uncomfortable. With colemak your hands feel relatively static, occasionally moving off the home row to hit one or two keys at a time

Dvorak layout is the most comfy one.

The first key ' (on the 4) is an apostrophe (not an accent).
The second one ` (on the 7) is a grave accent and is completely redundant considering only 3 letters use it in French: è à ù | and they all have a dedicated key

This.
