>room so dirty that moss grows on your desk

control your envy p-pls

32:9 is pretty nice, dont really need a second monitor

Attached: 20180901_204011.jpg (2560x1440, 1.06M)

I really hope this is bait.

But having a second is pretty nice ;)

Attached: 20180314_204422.jpg (2560x1440, 1.27M)

Why whats wrong with it?

Attached: DSC04629.jpg (3872x2160, 2.42M)

Your desk makes me claustrophobic

Just really faggy. Star Wars shit everywhere, gamer crap, ugly lighting, ultra wide monitor.

have my old station then

Attached: DSC04409-min.jpg (6000x4000, 1.83M)

For the record; the lighting looks atrocious on camera but is much better (and fully customizable) in person. Whats wrong with ultra wides? Also its technically a super-ultrawide. Its 49" and absolutely amazing for productivity. Be more jealous poorfag.

Attached: IMG_20181103_111126.jpg (2976x1674, 1.57M)

You want more height for better for productivity, you fucking idiot.

And guts. It's kinda fun to post this in threads where people don't know what x399 is. They rush to tell me I should have my video card in the top slot, as if I don't know what I'm doing.

Attached: IMG_20180925_073153.jpg (2976x1674, 1.11M)

Filthy af but I finally got the hotas set up to try them out. Need to weld up some brackets to mount them to the desk in a more proper manner.
That void will only be filled by God.
Next time turn the lights on so we can see more than just the monitors

Huh, figured you guys usually preferred things as cyb as possible

Attached: 20181103_183549.jpg (4032x3024, 3.38M)

Your backyard is not a battlestation

Doesn't it get hard to see anything with that lighting?

How well does the ultrawide work for gaming anyways? I didn't think that support for those resolutions was that common.

Why is your cap censored and why do you have a bowl of tendies in your setup?

What's the thing with the tubes on the right?

Is that Star Citizen?

What does it look like when you're not trying to pretend you're in Serial Experiments Lain?

Attached: rate_my_daily_gaming_driver.jpg (4032x3024, 2.12M)

I'm starting to think that g doesn't like anyone else's battlestation except their own

>Why is your cap censored
gives away workplace
>and why do you have a bowl of tendies in your setup?
i was hungry?

That's not true.

These guys are total lads.

how do i solve my clutter problem with a prison cell room

yes, my room is really that tiny

Attached: room.jpg (590x1050, 762K)

The resolution is 3840x1080
The aspect ratio is 32:9
The refresh rate is 144hz
It is also HDR 600 nit certified.
Support is pretty damn good, almost all games Ive played made within the past 5 or so years play nicely with the monitor. Those that dont, you end up just using less of the screen (usually 21:9) with bars on either side so its not that bad.
UI's occasionally arent optimised for the extra space but its never been a significant issue. Gaming is simply glorious quite frankly. Sometimes I even find myself with an unfair advantage; for example I can see behind me in first person mode on PUBG, nobody else can.

List those TVs/Monitor, please.

>List those TVs/Monitor, please.
PVM-20L5, PVM-14L5, CPD-15SF1

The last one can be found cheaply whenever it turns up, the first two less so unless if you're good at coming across barn finds given that they used to be high-end broadcasting equipment.

The lighting can change to anything I want. Full spectrum RGB as well as white shades. fully dimmable and get pretty bright as well. Plus they're voice controlled. So no, not really.

I've made some changes and need to take a new photo, but basically this still.

Nice dorm
Please tell me you edited that in and it's not a poster.
What's the walkie talkie for?
Looks cozy, but I'd suggest a new chair
Turning the lights off isn't going to save your power bill any compared to all of that shit running, you know.
Man I love Trinitrons. Where'd you pick those up at?
Still living in your parent's basement, I see
Get a bed with drawers underneath it. Put your PC on the floor. Maximize that book shelf.

Attached: IMG_20181104_003348-1.jpg (4160x3120, 3.57M)

Having a desktop PC doesn't mean it actually needs to be on your desk.

>Man I love Trinitrons. Where'd you pick those up at?
Mix of eBay and Craigslist. Shockingly enough, I beat the current market price on everything in the shot, but the left two still set me back a bit price-wise.

If you're in the mood for a Trinitron right now and don't want to spend too much money or too much time searching for a steal, I'd suggest going after a VGA monitor like the CPD on the right, since they're still under the radar in terms of desirability, and if you throw in something like a scaler, you can support input from pre-Dreamcast consoles.

From left t right

I don't have to take that from literally rebbit.

>code rain
>turntable
>debian mousepad
>le hackerman terminal with busywork commands
>no numpad
>glass desk

Do you know how much money I save from my engineering job living at home?

I can never find any on my local Craigslist. I've checked every thrift shop in my town, I'm on a call list for one of them if they get anyone trying to donate CRTs, since they turn them away whenever they get them normally.
I do like the left two a lot, but from what I understand, they don't support VGA, right? Only a standard video input?
>I'd suggest going after a VGA monitor like the CPD on the right
I never realized what the name of that specific one was. Thank you very much. Just found one for $100, free shipping. Probably gonna cop it now. Honestly I just want to connect it to my PC haha.

>Please tell me you edited that in and it's not a poster
that is most definitely a poster

>code rain
>turntable
>debian mousepad
>le hackerman terminal with busywork commands

thank you for pointing out my best features desu~

I wish I had the luxury, I'm only pointing it out because I'm jealous ;/

Once I get an actual desktop I'm getting an ultrawide and turning the big one sideways. The middle one is too TN to do that.

Hide your cables better and switch those to red.

Attached: IMG_20180911_124005.jpg (2592x1944, 2.48M)

>Hide your cables better

How?

put them all into a cable sleeve running down the back of your monitor and drill a hole in your desk for your keyboard cable

Zip ties and behind the pole.

>put them all into a cable sleeve running down the back

K.

>drill a hole in your desk for your keyboard cable

The fuck outa here

what are you scared

Would have been good to have gone to Battle bonfire last night.
Pity i'm hundreds of miles up north.

Attached: ibuynowtnewuni2.jpg (2061x1578, 604K)

i'd start with a taller bed, or stilts for the legs, give yourself underbed storage.

then get a swingarm monitor mount that clamps to the back of the desk instead of that stand.

you aren't maximizing your space on the shelf, defrag it.

How the hell do you post from that?

Just waiting for the guy with the small bed to upload his photo collage.

>an heroes over not having a meme battlestation

I've been interested in those Sony CRTs. Where the heck are people still buying these? Nice setup.

/jp/ poster? Cute Dollfies.

Same record player squad. Done any mods to yours?

People still playing DDO? Is it still getting translated?

faggot ass keyboard

just 4 u ;)))

I hate this.
Being that close to a huge screen is bad enough but then you have the vomit mishmash of a keyboard right under it.
The speaker stands are laughable too.

>being that close to a huge screen is bad enough
Remind me again what VR headsets are? Ah right, two fucking screens an inch away from your retina.

i missed you kotatsubro ;__;

?

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_digital_rain

>this dumb argument every time
VR lenses set the focal distance of the screens to about 2 meters away, which is further than your regular monitor, tard.

Also, nothing wrong with being that close to such a screen. It's the same distance as any other monitor, just larger.

View distance is only a health concern for CRTs, retard.

>focusing your eyes on something 10mm away for hours on end is totally okay
How dense are you? Really?

You are stupid.

It's more that when you're that fucking close to the monitor you need to move your head more just to look at different places on the screen. It's ergonomically stupid.

holy shit that core voltage

Finally an use for this device.

Attached: raspi speccy.png (660x525, 36K)

why do you sleep in a sleeping bag?

Posting mine. Hope you enjoy seeing something new or different in /bst/.

Attached: bs.jpg (1296x864, 781K)

>you have to move your head
Oh the horror, you have to do *gasp* movements and shit. How do you not exhaust yourself to death having to turn your head! Is this a fucking PC desk or an exercise machine omagawd!

JFC

Can't speak for the others but I sure do.

I came all over that exact same model netbook before

>Have the same device. How does it handle with ubuntu? Is there any problems? Mine has xp sp3
>Best laptop ever btw
With Xubuntu it works well, now I use i3 and it goes even better. The bad thing is that to see some video I have render to the mpeg2video codec to play it

What keyboard are you using?

What's in your glass?

Topcringe

>muh tendies

Holy fuck

>trumptard
That explains the autism

Everyone who concerns himself with politics on a mongolian basket weaving forum is an autist, regardless of affiliation.

>Is that Star Citizen?
No its Elite Dangerous.

Sure, but I can't stop cringing at the autist display of the trumptard with political paraphernalia living in what literally appears to be a basement

fellow br/o/ther

So I bought a monitor arm to clear up some space on my desk, but now I have floating horizontal PC/HDMI cables and it's triggering my autism. Any solutions? I've used the included cable management holders.

I like your room for having a terrarium theme

They are stone stairs of an old house, very comfy!! ^_^

Why are the dolls in front of the speakers???

Recommendations for comfy but also stylish chair?
