>idk $250USD max idrm as long as it's good. >Australia >silver or similar, I liked the short actuation distance a lot, no need for quiet >thinking compact so I have more mousepad space for low dpi fps gaming >dont mind RGBs, I guess some form of backlight is useful >had a corsair k70 rapidfire and before that a daskeyboard pro 4

Just told my mom I'm getting an ergodox and there's nothing she can do to stop me
Colton Rogers
give it back jamal
Robert Powell
nth for i just bought my first mech keyboard and i fucking love it, now looking for some better keycaps
>notices best iPhone Ah, I see you are a man of culture as well.
Lucas Ortiz
Hey, guys. Maybe anyone in this thread have metoo zero? Tell me please about that, i'll be really thanks
Chase Wright
Where in the US (or online) can I get a full size JIS layout keyboard with Cherry switches? I've been using an HHKB Pro JP for a couple years, but I'm starting to miss all my extra keys and clicky clacks.
>Budget Preferably around €100, but willing to go to €150 if it's worth it >Location Netherlands (German physical and webstores are a good option for me, but any EU-based webshop is good enough) >Preferred switch type Cherry mx Clear. I tried both cherry and gateron on a chink switch tester, but I bottom out much less on cherry. Unless I got chinked with the tester and the cherry switches are some clones. >Layout US ANSI >Form factor 100%. I got plenty of desk space and want the most standard layout possible, but I'm open to squished together 104-key layouts >Backlight None or dimmable >Previous keyboards 2 Model M's, Cherry Black at work, and a logitech G710+ (at least it was discounted) Preferably with media keys, but it's fine if they're under fn. I bet somebody else fell for the g710 meme, are there any replacement keycap sets for it available? I found some g710 specific modifier caps, but those were €15, and I don't want to spend €40 to fix it.
Brandon King
What's wrong with brown?
Connor Jenkins
Ducky One
Kevin Reyes
Ducky one

If you're getting an ergodox may as well make it the hot swap one.
> better get my h9 hudson with 5 extra clips in the shot so that everyone thinks I'm cool whoa there buddy... what library you planning on shooting up?
The problem is that they only sell ot with brown, red or blue in my country. In Germany they got silver and silent red as well, but no clear, white or green. The problem I run into is finding European stores that sell keyboards with mx clears. Pretty much everything is brown or blue here
Jack Scott
should I get the lightest zealios if I'm used to mx browns or should I go for heavier ones?
Samuel Hernandez
>Budget 100-150 USD >Location (continent at least) Burgerland >Preferred switch type Cherry MX Brown or Blue >Layout ANSI >Form factor TKL/80% >Backlight Would prefer but not essential >Previous/current keyboards Very very shitty $30 basedtech keyboard
Listen you retarded nigger, I know you're wiping your pozzed tranny cum all over that 60% keyboard of yours right now, do me a favor and give me a suggestion or fuck off.
I did a bunch of research when I bought my zealios and people seem to aggree that 67 is nearly identical in weight to a 65 but has decently larger tactlie bump. Browns will probably bee similar to a 65. 62 is slightly less tactile than 65. I dont think the weight will be a very significant factor as its just a few grams, just pick what you think will have the most satisfying bump. I got 67 and am happy with them.
Kayden Ramirez
>60% keyboard wrong
but here is my suggestion... get a vortex 3 for typing or if its for gayming get a ducky one two they both come in blue's & brown's but i don't recommend the brown
I don't even know what it is. How do I expect niggers to know i'm killing them with quality?
Liam Adams
did you try reading the thread?
Jack Ward
Did you try not being an obtuse little cunt?
Oliver Cox
I did, but niggers aren't very appreciative so why bother
Elijah Thompson
>Budget £100-£150 >Location (continent at least) United Kingdom >Preferred switch type Cherry MX Red >Layout UK ISO preferred but if not possible then US ANSI >Form factor 75% >Backlight Programmable RGB or just dimmable >Previous/current keyboards Nothing negligible, this would be my first mechanical
Carson Parker
You made an effort.
Leo Cox
why are filco posters so based? thinking of buying one now
Jacob Reyes
Because they know the best keyboard is the one that's the most modder friendly
boomers don't have pistols that've got grampas rifles
Parker Lewis
>no homing keys
how do you even type
Carter Hernandez
Budget: ~$300 (263.45 EUR) Location: USA Preferred Switch: Quiet and tactile Layout: I'm used to ANSI. Form Factor: 60%. Backlight: Not essential. Previous Keyboards: MX Red/MX Blue keyboards. Reds are fucking boring.
Sebastian Nelson
Same poster, wanted to add that I'm mainly looking for non-customs because I don't solder at all so I don't want to buy a whole soldering station for assembling 1 thing and then leaving it in my closet forever. I may change my mind, so I'm open to custom suggestions.
Isaac Phillips
Get someone to build it for you then if you're too lazy to do it yourself.
Thomas Wood
Yes/no
Tyler Johnson
HHKB Type-S is the only thing that I think comes to mind for all of those requirements.
Ryder Watson
just get cherry clears unless you are going to get zilents. really a waste of money otherwise
John Brooks
>scrolled by picture of KBDFans 5 degree case >remembered I have a half built rev. C GH60 >bought it in black immediately without doing any research
There are plenty of better metal 60% cases out there, aren't there?
What's a good customizable mouse that goes well with my FC660?
I was thinking on the Finalmouse Ultralight because it doesn't look gamer edgy.
Are there any mice with a plethora of mods?
Henry Perez
What the fuck do you think this is, mouse general?
Christian Martin
There is no mouse general
Jeremiah Ortiz
>Finalmouse Ultralight >doesn't look gamer edgy 0/10 Finalmouse is the mouse equivalent of clickbait, muh ScreaM edshot macheen
Get a Zowie EC2-A.
Jason Richardson
too bad ec2a scroll wheel fucking sucks for anything that’s not games
Kevin Russell
holy shit, one two three four, four dollars !
James Sanders
Jesus what's up with those keycaps? Do all spacey caps look that sad.
Justin Morales
Idk about the other sets but this was definitely lower res than I was hoping for. Normies love them though so I use them at work >didn't even fit on the board I intended them for because I am rarted
>ec2a scroll wheel fucking sucks I was actually unaware of the scroll wheel being shit, apparently it's extra shit for games unless you unbind it too I have a Rival 300 I recommended it because about 30% of pro CS players use that now and it doesn't look stupid
Colton Butler
So I want to get a TKL and I have my eyes set on the Topre Realforce. Should I save sheckles and go for a Cherry TKL instead like Filco?
Hudson Gutierrez
Get a leopold, ducky, or varmilo.
Brayden Green
desu coming from rubber domes you'll be more than happy with a value Cherry board
Angel Young
what's their point apart from being extremely loud
Grayson Roberts
Durability, tactile if you're not retarded enough to get a linear, you actually don't feel tired after typing something, instead you want more.
Landon Adams
You can get mechanical boards that are as quiet, if not moreso, than regular rubber dome boards.
Jeremiah Hughes
who needs typing apart from programmers
Liam Barnes
why would someone prefer mx black over red?
Cooper King
reds are pretty light so maybe to prevent bottoming out / generally just like heavier linear keys
Jason Gomez
So this is where we post pictures of keyboards, guns and money? I have a yahoo internet express access keyboard in transparent blue, a bersa Thunder and 31 cents
How is it that you're posting here without typing?
If you bother to condition yourself to do it, you can type on blacks without ever bottoming out.
Josiah Baker
stop posting your guns no need to show how confident you are in a computer keyboard geek thread
Cameron Lewis
I'm not even a gun owner right now, but guns are the same as any other hobby, keyboards included. This isn't the thread for them but who cares, he posted a keyboard
Juan Flores
>guns are the same as any other hobby No they are not, they are fully operational modern human-killing firearms, and they are very effective and widespread, unlike antique weapons that are collected by actual hobbyists.
Christopher Russell
99% of people who put together ARs like legos don't kill humans 99% of people who put together computers like legos don't kill humans 98% of people who put together cars like legos don't kill humans
Easton Thompson
>99% of people who put together ARs like legos don't kill humans i surely know this is fake but i support soldiers killing enemies yet they know how to put ARs together like legos cuz we payed them to do so
James Bailey
>unlike antique weapons
a gun only has to be 50 years old to legally be considered an "antique" in the USA
>fully operational >unlike antique weapons
What's the point in collecting an antique that doesn't even function anymore? There's plenty of 100+ year old guns that are still fully functional.
