Does it come with a 1hp refrigeration unit?

you sure about this?

Intel is finally gluing their CPUs together. INTEL CONFIRMED FINISHED AND BANKRUPT

Attached: 7c2.jpg (267x297, 24K)

Dude AMD has all but confirmed next server chips are 64 core, Intel is fucked!

But muh glue.

>copy AMD's MCM estrategy
>but using huge dies
>all the disadvantages of MCM without the advantage of high yields
>software will start optimizing for this kind of layout
>Epyc and Threadripper will be able to get even more perfomance
Well done, Intel.

WX HOUSEFIRES
>you sure about this?
Mayonnaise some good memes

>AMD's processors use GLUE HAHAHA LOSERS
>two years later

H-hey guys uh...look at our 48 core beast using all new intel glue-tek, it's uh...extreeeeme!

MOAR CORES

POO IN THE JOO

Looks delicious.

ETA for public availability?

Pentium D comes back to get its ass kicked by Athlon64 x2 again.

paper launch today; who knows when the supply chain will catch up

anybody who buys this is a sucker though

Intel plans on shipping 5 pieces until mid 2020.

Why would one consider Intel for entry level?

Good, I'll order one.

>finally
Q6600(and xeons based on it) was glued

Were they? Source?

NEW! youtu.be/uO8aWJ0qfGo

>mfw even AMD shill AdoredTV overestimated Intel here (he thought they would go 56 cores)

roflroflroflrofl

>need to buy new motherboard because new socket
>no upgrade path because this is the last thing intel can do

I don't get it, at this point they're jewing themselves.

>look at these fucking footnotes

it's usually a couple of sentances. Did they accidentally copy+paste a fucking Dan Brown book manuscript?

>Stream triad
>2018
Are they frickin serious?

Good, maybe now they can stop throwing wafers away.
They just have to scale it down to 4 cores/chip.
Will help 10nm.
Won't help latency, gamers be sad.

>Intel plans on shipping 5 pieces until mid 2020.
Only 5? Yields must be < 0.00005%

Wasn't Pentium D 2 chips also? Or was it Athlon X2? Sorry, I kinda skipped on that generation.

compares 2s with 1s and thinks its a good idea to publish it

listOfThingsThatDontMatterAnymore.add("RAM Latency");

"Building on 20 years of xeon innovation"
Does not sound very innovative to me :)

Why would one consider Intel?

Many years of being enterprise go-to vendor.

>Cascade Lake Advanced Platform
>C. L. A. P.
>getting the intel clap (venereal disease)
fucking lmao, intel in on their last breath

so like...
this is a $7000 processor or what?

youtube.com/watch?v=8FJTK_iNA5s

>Intel now requires 2 CPU's to beat 1 CPU.
They are finally admitting defeat.

Jow Forumsing amada erasing the juden from existence

20 years of marginal IPC gains on the same uArch. 20+ socket changes.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Intel gives you the C.L.A.P.!

Different kind of glue.
Intel was putting 2 single cores or 4 single cores on the same sku until nehalem. The other cores didn't know they were accompanied by other cores...and that's how intel responded to amd's real dual cores in the athlon days.

>48 cores
>they can only make 48 of them due to extremely low fab rates

POTTERY

Interesting. More research needed for newer ones.

48 cores?
Isn't EPYC2 supposed to ship with up to 64 cores?

Tomorrow we will know for sure, but rumor has EPYC2 @64cores/128threads

>intel puts out top of the line cpus for years while amd fails to compete at all
>amd manages to release an architecture that can actually compete and sometimes even beat intels cpu

This but unironically

more like jew guy

Imagine it user, Rome with twice the clockspeed and half the cost (and half the tdp lol). The future's so bright i've got to wear shades.
