I listen to speakers every day.

Attached: 1maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 236K)

I am listening to loudspeakers RIGHT NOW!!!

Attached: kef_sp3235_1493552673_a698f09d.jpg (1080x1080, 141K)

who are they talking to?

They just answer questions. Tom is a moron but Rob is good.

Was off for a bit to get some beers, but now I'm back. And guess what: the speakers are on again and I am listening!

Why does it cost $1000?

Attached: t500amk2[1].jpg (450x380, 76K)

Noticed that Edifier speakers are way (~1.5x) cheaper locally than buying from Amazon.
Are 1280T a good thing to start with if I don't want to spend >$100, or they have something better in their lineup?

NC500 or NC502MP? I have a pair of Amphion Argon 1.

amp100

Aren't all Anaview amps inferior to Hypexes in terms of parameters like distortion and SNR? And why shouldn't I get an Amp500 if I eventually want an Amphion amp?

2x NC500OEM or a single NC502MP? I would suggest the 502.

Well, I want a stereo amp, so it's 2xNC500OEM versus a NC502MP.
I thought technically NC500 would be better than NC502MP.

why do you even care it will still sound like a $20 craigslist avr

what do people mean when they say that some speakers sound FAST or RESPONSIVE or something else about SPEED?
because as I understand fast 2000 hz would be something like 2500 hz? because HERTZ is the SPEED of speaker movement, right? wtf?

What's a good 5.1 setup for a living room?

5x atc scm 100 and a scm 0.1/15

>atc
someone got memed

why? it for sure is a good 5.1 setup for a living room

>Just spend $60k on your living room setup, goyim

too cheap? you can get good results with some egglestons or so as well

>tfw considering switching careers to afford dream speakers

atc is audiophool garbage

no, atc are just your typical well engineered pro audio speakers.
the hifi models are the same thing with fancy veneer.

You're an audiophool
Post your superior setup

What would be the best DAW for recording drums, guitar, bass and vocals through a 8/16 audio interface?
How much computational power would be required to record up to 8 tracks simultaneously and be able to apply effects?
Also, what would be an inexpensive set of monitors (speaker or headphones) that would be suitable for this project?

Because someone will pay it with enough graphs by it.
For poor folks, just get this instead.

That's what happens when you use shitty chinese ampampsps

Or shitty horns designed by idiots.

oh no

Whats a good 2.1 channel amp with minimal hiss?

That looks very good, specially the off-axis response in the midrange for a 2way speaker.

Interesting video:

nice quads but this isnt on amazon

yeah I have no idea.

I went with an old stereo amp I got from a boomer near my university.

any particular reason you want a subwoofer?

looks like audiophool garbage

I guess it is. It should be easier to modify the gain with NC500 if you ever felt that desire. But the difference in power and performance is not much, especially considering the price delta.
Are these bare boards or assembled in a case?

you might want to have your eyes checked

Reminder.

Attached: boomerhorn.png (692x390, 171K)

Any nCore modules except the famous NC400 are now available to OEM suppliers only, so either of them is definitely assembled in a case to ordinary consumer like me.
Guess I can buy the NC502MP amp with half the price of an NC500 amp and use the rest of the budget to buy cables and computer for Roon then.

whatever audiophool

Having a dream speaker defeats the entire point. Why should I let them have all the fun?

Sometimes an OEM is a little loose, or you have a friend who can get you a module.

I am pretty much shite at DIY everything audio related except making a TV coax cable, so I'm not gonna waste money and time to do some mission impossible.
Although it seems the NC400 mono kit is easy to DIY, I just need a cable stripper, a soldering iron and a screwdriver to do it so, and it's tempting. Too bad Hypex just offers mono amp kit rather than stereo.

why do people keep buying schiit

Got the KEF Q150. I don't know if it's my room but these are pretty dark, and almost bassy. I had to plug the ports and EQ a bit for a brighter sound. I had heard some people say the Q350s were dark so I assume these inherited it. I wasn't expecting it since the Q100s are on the brighter side. That said the imaging, mids and treble are beautiful.
Might get used Bronze 2s soon.

I asked this but the thread died, what are some good 500€ bookshelves or monitors pair that look good? I want a modern look and neutral colors (no wood finish)

Attached: ADPA7X_pair-3e0eef52d24bff54f4c23e5e2808cac2.jpg (1369x900, 207K)

I love how that look but i need something less technical/industrial and more clean/minimal. Also those are 500 each here in europe, not the pair

all you need bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1116657-REG/sony_ss_cs5_3_way_3_driver_bookshelf.html

I can get Rega Planer 1, Sony F44DE amplifier and some shit tier looking sony speakers not sure on the model for €150. Should I go for? Also I can't find any evidence of the F44DE existing is it similiar to the F442E?

My Klipsch sound amazing and everyone who has listened agrees

Attached: 20180518_123354_HDR.jpg (5312x2988, 2.62M)

>no wood finish
The fuck?

>Q150
Really? The bass will usually be room dominated, but the highs? How are they arranged relative to you?

Doesn't fit with the rest of the furniture

How? Veneer finishes goes with everything

On a desk, pointed directly at me. This is a measurement of the Q350, assuming they have a similar signature above 1kHz, boosting that 4kHz dip and the higher end shelf improves it a lot.

Forgot.

Either they being nice or they haven’t heard better
