I second this
Holy fuck I just discovered KDE connect yesterday. Amazing idea. I can browse my laptop hooked up to my tv without getting off my ass.
Holy mother of fuck and I've been using my laptop (manjaro with KDE) + a rii remote like a pleb for fucking years
nevermind, I've just updated my app
Hey idiot, Apple Keynote does the same, but with actually good looking slides, and macOS will actually connect with your projector.
>file transfers not werking

Does the KDE keyboard for Android serve any purpose?
explain yer problem. It wouldn't work on my machine with Thunar but it works perfectly now that I set Dolphin as my default file manager
i try to open it, but it dies or something.
also use dolphin since im running kde
you mean it times out? weird
I'm using it right now to type this message :^)
You got sshfs installed?
yeah, haven't really troubleshooted it yet
yes
How do I use it? It's for typing on your phone with your desktop keyboard, right? Like in what window do I have to type text in if I want the text to show up on my mobile?
see if connecting with your phone screen unlocked changes anything
It might be this bugs.kde.org
Is there anything like that for windows?
No.
Does this work without KDE? That DE is fucking awful.
Yes
Interesting. After bragging that Android file transfer works perfectly on my setup I updated my Android app and now it doesn't. I'm getting a different error message, though.
Update: I have compiled the 1.8.4.1 version of the android application and it werks again.
download the previous version of the Android app
gsconnect
Cool I'll try it out.
>gnome
not much better, I use i3.
kubuntu isn't kde, use neon.
