Do you mean you want something resembling the Matrix where you put a cable into a neuro interface and it replaces your entire sensory experience with a simulated one?
I mean that would be kinda fun, but what if there's a fire and you wouldn't be able to know? ...and if it's too realistic, how would you be able to tell the difference between the real world and the virtual world so you're sure you've actually logged out of it so you're not driven crazy by the uncertainty?

VR has many limitations, like not being able to simulate gravity, so when you're upside down in-game, your inner-ear knows you're not upside down and it can cause nausea.
But you don't need sophisticated gyro sensors to have gay ERP sessions with other neckbeards pretending to be anime girls, VR is great.
