What's Jow Forums's opinion on this piece of chinkshit as far as ultrabooks go? Worth it? Too risky? Already outdated? Or is it just shit?

No I don't have the budget for a fully specced out X1 Carbon.

Anything other than the most popular models of ThinkPads, Dell Latitiudes, and Toughbooks is automatically a mistake. Don't buy shit that hasn't been extensively tested and reviewed by at least a dozen people. Same goes for anything really.

>t. pleb and npc who can't make their own choice

>t. brainless consumer npc who buys chinkshit because it's cheap instead of business class machines that are durable and well tested
Enjoy your housefire, dick vacuum.

I don't want 60% sRGB

Sorry, I don't speak liberal arts degree.

I bought a huewei mate 10 pro with the keyboard it was $250 and worth it. Forking out more than that is not something I would risk

Still the best ultrabook out this year, tbqh. It does get warm while charging though, so you might want to undervolt a bit.

Lol! A few thinkpads (when specced with higher resolution options) and XPS (although 15 overheats) have very good displays.

But really user this is a job for a decent monitor and not a laptop monitor, like chardonnay to vodka one is strictly made to get you there

X1 Carbon is ridiculously overpriced and XPS is literally only good for displaying static images, worst ghosting and input lag of any display out there.

>But really user this is a job for a decent monitor and not a laptop monitor, like chardonnay to vodka one is strictly made to get you there

I can use my monitor on my desk and nowhere else.

dont buy x1 carbon it got QC issues

Did I say x1 carbon? All the 1440p and 4k screen option hit >95%srgb on all thinkpads with the option.
A used ThinkPad P51/P50 or Dell Precision workstation is good also if you need a GPU.

Really though OP, what level of professional color accurate work are you doing on the go?
If you genuinely do need an on-the-go color accurate workstation but cannot afford a ~$1000 machine for business, you need to rethink your biz operations and profit margins.

Like what I'm saying op is in what PRAGMATIC USE CASE is it a MUST that you need a >95% srgb display on your laptop? And if its a WANT then get bent and earn more money dude.
And if your company is buying tell them to get bent too, you need something that'll work.

why the fuck u saying if they good for gpu theyre designed for cad work not gaming

Get the lg gram then or an hp spectre or folio

Should be nice. I got the HP Envy 13 4k version and don't regret it

We don't know OPs USE CASE you little shit. He could be using davinci for all we know. Odds are is he's some college kid who wants to do Photoshop shit posts in class and wants to make sure his gay porn is color accurate in Starbucks

it's fucking amazing

I had the Matebook X and then bought the X Pro as an upgrade. Both are stellar and fucking perfect laptops.

X1 Extreme literally has a 1050ti in it, it's a gaming card

>get 16:9 standard boring garbage
fuck off

doesnt x1e throttle?

what about ultraportable with decent external GPU?
