It's getting on a bit.

I can understand why the switch - but that doesn't mean I won't miss that little extra vertical space when this thing finally gives up the ghost. I'll just have to replace it with a larger 4K panel and enjoy the text being crisper (and probably everything scaling wrong).

But I love my current 1200p monitor, and you can just use VSR/SSR to get a simulated 4k.

In fact there's an HDR capable 16:10 monitor I'm looking to pick up on black friday.
