This seems to mainly be a "yank" issue. I see spergy UK people in healthy relationships, working sociable jobs, doing great; they're just a bit nerdy. Yet, those same people would be outcasts back in the states. Hell, there's a furry girl at uni who wears a tail and has a Rainbow Dash backpack and, everytime we see her, she talks normally, has non-fag friends, doesn't do a virgin walk, and seems all well in the head (aside from the furshit(kinda wanna fuck her brains out desu(T I G H T A S S))).
