I have an HP Omen 15 that has an I7 8700K, 16GB of ddr4 at 3000mhz, a GTX 1060, and up to 4 hours battery under full load, 8-10 at idle.
Cost only 1,250 and will likely outlast any MacBook.
People are only using Macbooks for apperances, not because of the specs.

Macbook pro is still a laptop that people use to get shit done with the Apple appeal. No one will deny that unless you're a mouth breather who think people really spend 2500+ on a laptop just for Facebook.
However, that 2500+ price tag for a 15", plus a faulty keyboard, plus no user replaceable parts, plus the forced touch bar option, and plus a premium to repair cost unless you shell another 200+ dollars for Apple care.
That's why people shit on Apple. When there are better valued options on the market that aren't backed by a company who actively milk money from their customers people reserve the right to criticize them. Apple will stay a meme.
