You simply saying you don't have NBN doesn't mean you don't have NBN. You most certainly don't have ADSL2+. In fact, I'm almost certain you had a Telstra ADSL2+/VDSL2 modem and Telstra have switched you over to the NBN network and your modem has corrected for the modulation changes.

If you are in an NBN FTTN area, they don't need to. The changes are made out in the street. Check your address on finder.com.au/nbn-tracker

4. You're in a brown area which means that conversion works already started. The map likely hasn't' updated with NBN's latest data.
