IMO, QML is really easy to use. But it would be nice if it supported newer typescript on logic

It is the only cross-platform widget toolkit worth a damn, period

If you write modern C++, Qt is your friend

It's Cute.

Been using pyside2 for python gui's, it's great.

Pretty nice to use. Biggest benefits are:
- cross platform
- multiple languages
- not divided like gtk
- not batshit insane like tk

HA

How is that cringe? What's really cringey is your misuse of that image and just the general caption.

QT for swift when?

Very much this. It's great for cross platform lightweight code. It has some flaws but it's all around a great software with lots of stuff available. Slots and signals sucks though.

It's really nice, but also extremely invasive. Before you know it you'll have QStrings, QObjects, QByteArrays, QNetworkReplies, QVariants, QPoints, QDelegates and other QCrap all over your code unless you make sure from the start to only use Qt classes for UI.

do you want it to look decent or terribad?

> not batshit insane like tk

debatable.

>Qt
>multiple languages
haha LOL

>tfw no Qt programming knowledge

Cringey rubbish. Professional environments (read: places where you can actually earn money) gave up on desktops a long time ago. We build apps in html for a reason.

Your reason being?

Apple QuickTime is a horrible abomination an should cease to exist on this mortal plane.

wxWidgets is way better

And that reason is js devs are the lowest paid scum of the earth.

It's pretty neat how it's got an embedded system that allows you to run graphical applications without X

I used to despise of it, but now it seems like the only option considering how footfags are bent on making GTK even worse than it already is (and I've boycotted GTK+3 ever since they broke themes for no good reason).
