Budget of around 200-250 euro's

Need something with a better battery life than my OnePlus 3t now and more storage than 64gb

Preferably no notch

Thoughts?

Redmi Note 5

But I don't like MIUI

Flash a custom ROM then. If you can stretch your budget a little then you can get a Nokia 7 Plus for around 300€.

My gf has the 7 plus. Looks good and has good battery life but the screen is mediocre at best.

Hello my nignogs,
i have a question, is the nokia x6/nokia 6.1 plus a good buy? it costs around 260 pounds.

God this notch crap better be gone next year.

Hey user I'm quite curious about this
its that worth it for 4gb of ram 64gb of rom, 3080mA, usb-c and 1080p display?
am planning to use for normal stuff: Jow Forums, reddit, twitter etc.

yes, same chipset as the Redmi Note 5, not sure about the camera tho but that should be fixed with a GCam port, and you can forget about custom ROMs considering bootloader is locked down

The sales on the Mix 3 are suspiciously low on AliExpress also there's nothing about the phone on xiaomis website. So when is the phone actually releasing?

Attached: 1530320868053.jpg (606x960, 115K)

why?
it makes my phone look nice swimming in endless amounts of notched trash

THREADLY REDPILL:

enjoy your 'innovashun' and 'curridge'
i.e.
>notches
>phones so thin and bezels so thin that you can't ever grip the phone properly, making drops more likely
>glass sandwich for more fragility
>lack of 3.5mm jack - carry dongles instead!
>lack of micro sd card slot - use da cloud and stream everything
>no SIM card slot - hurr durr le smart sim!!!
>high and higher pixel densities which are pointless because we're already at the point where you can't discern any more - even 1080 is the max anyone needs - 1440 is a meme that simply taxes the chip and thus the battery more
>smaller and smaller batteries (but we made it more 'efficient', goyim! less is more hehehe)
>no more fingerprint sensor - either it's under the screen, or it scans your face instead

>and now...FOLDABLE SCREENS! "i need a foldable screen!" (said no one). Just another solution to a problem no one had in the first place. That'll be three thousand dollars, goyim. You should buy it, don't you want to fund future INNOVASHUN?? You're holding humanity back, you're halting PROGRESS!

Face it, we reached peak smartphone about 3 years ago. Everything since then has been about making phones worse, not better (and more expensive for an ever worse experience)

Attached: 230.jpg (490x586, 14K)

>screen is mediocre
That'll be the case with most 200-250€ phones. If you want something with an AMOLED display like the OP3T is, look at Samsung's Galaxy A-series or Moto Z2/Z3 Play.

it's fine, it comes with android stock which is what I'm looking for in a phone.
Just in case do u have any recommendations of a android stock phone with 1080p display and good battery?

Sales are low because the price through resellers is still much higher than in China. Official global release is supposed to come in December or early January.

Hmm, well should I wait for the global release if I want the phone or get one from aliexpress? Does the aliexpress version have bloat/ads or other chinkshit?

Meh, the regular Nokia 6.1 is £179 atm, I'd either get that and save some money, or spend a little more for the Nokia 7 Plus/7.1 (both £299 afaik).

Other stock android phones to consider would be Xiaomi's Mi A2 / A2 Lite, Nokia 8, and Sony's XZ1/XZ1 Compact.

probably the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, has a big 1080p display, 5000mAh battery, and android one, also same price just search for the global version which has B20

What a retarded nigger

Is the LG G6 worth it? How are the cameras?

bought a new lgv20 from a chinese seller on ebay
with like 20,000 reviews but battery life is god awful around 1 hour if i am lucky and the phone turns itself off randomly once it hits 50-60 % charge left
installed accubattery and it says the battery health of the device is around 53% of the original capacity so either I got a refurbished phone,a refurbished battery or just lg battery factory error
what are my options now?

Where to cop in Germany? Can‘t find it, there‘s only Zenfone 4 Max etc

new battery.

I'd wait for the global version so you get it with the global MIUI ROM out of the box. I think a Mix 3 ordered off Aliexpress now currently come with the Chinese ROM because global ROM isn't released yet.

check on kimovil, I can't provide the link, but there's a store on AliExpress that apparently offers warranty and are selling it for $252 US, its the first link in the where to buy

What's with the dull color palette. I want a pink one.

You sound hurt

Are there going to be any good deals on Black Friday that also ship globally?

that was what I was thinking too,how likely will the seller agree to ship me a new one ?fucking chinks don't even understand english given the *thanks for purchase* card they sent me with broken english on it

See if the chinks can get you a new battery or fund a partial refund for you to buy new OEM one. Mines doesn't do that at all and I got it off ebay too maybe lasts 5-6 hours I guess.

Has anyone used an Axon M? I want one so badly but I'm afraid it is going to be too much of a downgrade power-wise from my Pixel XL.

don't, they're locked down and full of carrier bloat if you're in the States, also you'd be stuck with shitty MiFavorOS which is ZTE's spin of Android
DON'T BUY IT

>6.1 plus/x6
No nfc but bretty good warranty for urop and compatible bands lte for murica.

V20? Get extended zero lemon

eventually Im getting one of the 10,000mah batteries but for now im a giga poorfag

Why??

what do you mean why? I just fucking stated the reasons

>carrier bloat
>special OS because two screens
pretty normal expectations

it has official lineage os

>special os
it's not special, it's their in-house spin, and it sucks, expect literally ZERO updates
t. former Blade V8 Pro owner
>carrier bloat
considering it was only released through AT&T and their wasn't an unlocked variant offered, then yes, you can say that's a normal expectation

Does the gear vr only work with samsung devices? What vr set should I use with the redmi note 5?

I was thinking about this
aliexpress.com/item/100-Original-Xiaomi-VR-Play-2-For-Porn-Happy-Times-JO-Session/32838314257.html

Blackberry Keyone - gud or bad? Can you get used to it and have solid accuracy without looking at the keyboard?

the only reason one should even consider purchasing the Axon M is if they wanted a poweful small tablet and don't plan on using it as a phone

yep, that is my usecase

GearVR is only for Samsung devices.
Also, just keep in mind that mobile VR isn't really much on an actual VR kit hooked up to a PC. Don't go in expecting it.

I like sony phones.
I buy them used because amazon are jews who don't update their new prices and swapping a battery costs like 50 bucks and even then I would save a hundred euros.
That said, I sent my XZ back a few months ago because it had some problems sadly. Thinking of "downgrading" to the Z5 or X performance or getting the XA2. I only use my phone for videos, spotify and porn, so I'm not interested in custom roms. The missing water resistance and the alleged tint on the XA2's display are a little bit worrying for me though. Did you Jow Forumsoys have any big problems with the phones? If so, please state.
Please don't recommend any other phones. It's those three and nothing else. I'm not interested in xiaomi and the sort

well if you don't care about updates or custom ROMs, go ahead, but just be warned MiFavor is buggy and has memory leaks

I used my Z5 for about three years and only just moved to a Moto X4 this week. Lovely phone, only issue was that about nine months ago the back glass just kind of shattered one day when I picked it up. Still not really sure why, maybe the frame had subtly warped and was putting stress on it or something. The lens on the camera also scratches up kind of easily, but I wasn't exactly doing much photography with it so I didn't find it to be a big issue personally. I consider my X4 to so far be a straight upgrade if you're at all considering alternative phones.

>THREADLY REDPILL of poorly constructed arguments
kys nigger

seriously reconsider, it doesn't even act as a true tablet, and for the price these go for you can get a Xiaomi Mi Pad 4/Pro which is a superior product

I just want something cheap for vr porn

Will it fit in my pocket?

Respond to this

For that a phone VR setup should do you just fine. Just don't expect to be jumping into the Matrix, or even Superhot.

the regular Mi Pad might depending on the type of pants you wear and how large you are, but if you were planning on buying the Axon M for tablet use, why would you need to carry it in your pocket to begin with?

>why would you want to carry your phone/tablet hybrid in your pocket
lulwat

Are there literally any Smartphones left with removable battery?

you said you weren't using it as a phone, so
a) why would you be leaving the house with it?
b) if you're leaving your house with it, why not get something that's actually better and guaranteed to work as a tablet should, like a tablet?

I just ordered one, thanks for the input.

ordered what?

How important RAM is for the phone?
I got 6T with 6 gigs, now feeling massive regret that I didn't go with 8gb for $30 more. Please convince me I'm just being stupid and shouldn't worry about it

Attached: oneplus-5-ram-usage[1].jpg (1600x1200, 237K)

zee tee eee ackson emm

my phone has 2.
3 would be nice but 2 is enough for now.

6 is beyond enough, unless you're a teenage girls with 6 gorrillion social media apps

post confirmation

In my opinion, more than 4gb is overkill. My pc has 32gb though heh.

you don't have the balls

same question as this guy but kinda in reverse
i'm looking to buy the cheapest phone i can find with 4gb RAM, but i'm seeing a lot of good 3gb options instead. how much am i gonna regret it if i go for 3gb RAM when i'm planning to use the phone mostly for games?

>gaymes
grow up

But in the case of gaymes, 4GB will be a lot better
They take so long to load, you really don't want to have to reload them

Any good new phones with decent battery, stock android and thicc bezels (fuck the ALL SCREEN meme)?

Redmi Mi Note 6 or Note 5?

6 is 4GB/64 for $187.46

5 is 4GB/64 for $173.99

Is the 6 worth the extra $11 dollars? They seem about the same, spec wise.

5

Y?

but i can only play games on my phone during my commute to work, growing up sucks
and thanks for the help, will go for 4gb then

Because.

Okay.

I HATE INDIANS SO MUCH WHY ARE THEY SO ANNOYING

That's it i'm buying an iPhone. Good bye Jow Forums

With focus on gaming 4gb will definitelly benefit you. Also look into better GPU/CPU

Moto Z2 Force with the PowerPack mod is as close as you're going to get
at least you can unlock the bootloader and flash a ROM like AEX or Resurrection Remix on it and the motomods still work
it's on sale on their site right now for $299

don't really know much about phones but i'm eyeing zenfone max pro for now
>CPU: Octa-core 1.8 GHz Kryo 260
>GPU: Adreno 509
i honestly have no idea what these mean

>I HATE INDIANS SO MUCH WHY ARE THEY SO ANNOYING
Lack of empathy, shitty culture, and moderate IQ.

For $11 more you get a notch and a slightly better selfie camera. Pretty much everything else is the same.

>Adreno 509
wut, that's wrong
the SD 636 on the Max Pro has the Adreno 512
if you're the German user from earlier, get something like an Essential Phone or something else with at least an SD 835 if you want to game

Moto e5 Play

Mite b cool.

I think you're confused, Snapdragon 636 has Adreno 509, SD660 has Adreno 512.

gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2017&idBatRemovable=1

>thicc bezels
Nokia 8

whoops, you are correct, still better than the 506

Go with 4gib/64gib it's a minimum nowadays and already cheap as fuck.

Redmeme Note 6, it just $11 different kek. I just got redmeme note 5 desu because redmeme note 6 note available herr and seems everything's soldout from alie or gearbest today.

thanks for the tip, unfortunately it looks like SD 835 phones cost a bit too much for my wallet, so i'll have to live with lesser performance for a while

shit battery life tho
look here germanon only ~30€ more

thanks, checking it out right now (also forgot to mention i'm a different user)

Budget: up to 400eur, maybe a little more if needed
Looking for a recently released phone with an official Lineage OS rom.
I'm looking at the list of supported devices and they're ancient. Any idea where I can find a list sorted by release date?

Attached: VUdXMwS.jpg (973x1071, 38K)

Did any Jow Forums britfags miss the memo that Xiaomi are now selling their devices in the UK, or am I late to the party? Thought there'd be more folks talking about it.

based. not sure why you get hated. everything you said is true. I can't find a phone to replace my nexus 6p anymore because of all these shitty "trends"
redmi note 5 has lineage

>linux 4.9 ported on mi A1 by lineage OS maintener
>snappy as fuck
>EAS is working
Man, that's cool as fuck. It's like I got a new phone.

Why would I want to install LineageOS on a Redmi Note 5? Don't have it yet, but don't want to be forced to do it and brick my phone.

Phones with official LineageOS released in 2018:
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1
Sony XA2 / XA2 Ultra
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/Note 5 Pro
Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ (Exynos version)

Released in 2017:
BQ Aquaris X / X Pro
LG G6 (US997 and H870)
Moto X4 / Z2 Play / Z2 Force
OnePlus 5 / 5T
Samsung Galaxy A5/A7 (2017)
Xiaomi Mi6, Mi A1, Mi Mix 2, Mi Note 3, Redmi 4X, Redmi Note 4/4X

Ive been using the redmi note 4 without lineage OS for a year and a half now (because I bought the nikel version which never got supported)
I'm pretty sure all my private info is sold by chinks now. They sell all their phones at a loss so the money has to come from somewhere.

Why would you brick your phone user? Flashing roms is super easy once you get the hang of it.

As for why: no chinese botnet, cleaner ui, better battery life off the top of my head

>They sell all their phones at a loss
Source: your ass
