Best ultrabook of 2018

What is the best ultrabook of 2018
>Dell xps
No 3:2, no touchscreen at a reasonable price, stupid webcam
>surface laptop
World's worst io, bad reparibility
>huawei matebook x pro
Seems great on paper(a little heavy and stupid webcam again but both are minor really), but the keyboard of the surface laptop is much better and this is really important to me and many other users in this category.

What does Jow Forums think?

Macbook Pro.

fpbp

what the fuck is "ultrabook"? that term was used for notebooks without CD tray 5 years ago.

best quality notebook is obviously a macbook

MacBook Pro.

Lg gram if it was less costly

macbook air, touchbar ruins the macbook pro

why the fuck are you using laptops in 2018?

LG gram build is apauling tho

saving up for the matebook x pro lads. thank you based chinks

It's an annoying term buts it basically means thin and light at this point

what's wrong with it? the flex?

like I say though, if it was around 500 dollars it would be a great buy

Why are Dell laptops in general so expensive compared to other brands? Do they have better cooling or something?

whatever thinkpad released with a p on it

Flex aesthetics and keyboard

Do you not leave your house user?

>not just remoting into your 32core ryzen box from an iapd pro

Dude you're getting a Dell

>remoting for productivity
Really user...

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon (2018)

If anyone here thinks that touching a woman is the pinnacle of enjoyment has never typed on a keyboard of a Lenovo business class notebook.

it is absolutely the MacBook Pro. And I am someone who used the Huawei matebook x pro for 3 weeks, it was pretty good but in the end all of these ultra books are just cheap imitations of the real thing. Just spend the extra money and get the MacBook, there is no better laptop experience. Windows 10 is awful, GNU/Linux is great for servers but awful for basic consumer level tasks (not to mention no adobe support), macOS is truly on another level. Every couple of years I leave the apple ecosystem but I am always sucked back in because the only alternatives are far worse

ultrabooks are not laptops

Never mind, I figured it out.

>those huge bezels
maybe in 2014

this. The only thing wrong with it is the aspect ratio.

16:9 is fine, it allows you to have two nearly square windows side by side.

I like my XPS 13.

>touchscreen
>on a non 2-in-1 laptop
absolutely retarded

16:9 is an abomination.

3:2 or 16:10 for real productivity.
