>do a screen shot pretending like this is your typical memory usage
Typical RAM shill tactic

You know you can just Command+Shift+4, then press space to screencap a single window, right?

Look at memory pressure, it's enough

The bloat is real. 31 tabs, 1 day old session. When will the browser messiah save us from the bullshit state we exist in.

What bloat? What did you expect with 31 tabs open?

>extensions
>31 tabs
Wtf do you expect you ape

> close to 5GB of usage for 30 odd tabs
> not bloat
Don't you have a meritocracy to be undermining firecucks shill?

Good enough for me.

>close to 5GB of usage for 30 odd tabs
Again - what did you expect? That's all I've asked you. Have you compared RAM usage between different browsers?
>Don't you have a meritocracy to be undermining firecucks shill?
What the fuck are you talking about? Get it through your head - you don't have telepathic abilities and only thing you've been asked is "What did you expect?"

just close chrome lol

no im using it

u know u dont

>explorer
>225MB

you dont know that
closed one and the memory went 20,000K higher lol

31 tabs should be 1-2GB max RAM usage, especially if most are things like Wikipedia, Jow Forums, and Google searches

30 tabs firefox
Try taking down all your useless extensions except ublock.

i have 2000+ tabs open and max ram usage of Firefox is 1gig. chromium chrome and anything based on it just crashes on startup.

How often do you need to restart your session to avoid memory leaks?

literally never. the only thing that ever caused leaks was Firefox lightbeam. after disabling it it runs smooth again.

The real issue is memory allocation and oom-killer entering the fray too late in linux. Opening chromium balloons memory usage from 4gb to 16 of 16 available for the same amount of activity in firefox.
Guess they gotta track the trackers tracking the tracking.

I still want to add two more sticks and take it up to 32

Learn how you system handles memory management first before posting shit.

I'm not doing anything right now, but when i start rending video or audio i wish i had just a bit more. 24 GB broken down to 12 cores doesn't end up that much

There you have it.
