On average, it's a reasonable price. If you can afford it, choose server in Germany (one in Germany-France-Netherlands). If you don't like Germany speed, you change it to Finland later. My seedbox has relieved me of a lot of stress and I'm only now coming to appreciate how long I'll have to wait to reach PTP, regardless of my upload. Probably won't have to renew next month anyway, but in the mean time what can I use this for apart from torrenting? I know you can host a website on it, but I assume you'd need to buy a domain name for that, and it would seem pointless putting more money into this. I don't mind if I can only use this experience to learn, that would be exciting on its own. Please list off some things I can read up on.
It's your choice tho. Hetzner is completely safe if you don't run a tracker or a wellknown streaming service from it. When running those services, it's still compeltely safe if you're protected from front to end. Normally, streaming and torrenting is comletely safe. And... Hetzner won't hurt its customers.

Ok. I'm sorry for being impatient. I forget how much time and effort these people put in just out of passion. The love for their site, the catalog that's being maintained, the community they've fostered over years. All so they can share music with other people. In contrast I'm just an entitled shitter. Someone who has every expectation I'll just be let in, when I've yet to spend a single minute there to develop any real affection for the work that went into their site and its history, or the likely difficult constant need for maintenance just to keep it from collapsing. I don't know a thing about Redacted besides exam prep, and what bothers me most is I didn't see any of this even after all the time I spent preparing for the interview. I think I understand now why you need to learn all this stuff about audio formats and transcodes. It's so shitters like me develop an appreciation for the site they're applying for, so they're turned off if they just want to treat it as a tool to get invites. Any volunteer work is something to be cherished. I appreciate the work people do for more obvious things like creating art, but I missed it for all the people who work to share art. Yes, I was being a jerk, but what's worse is how stupid I was. I knew all this at the back of my head, but I was too much of an idiot for the thoughts to become tangible. It's partly due to me treating this site like a stepping stone to other places. I go out of my way not to shitpost about Jpopsuki, and here I am shitting up another tracker before even joining, a site I'm sure hundreds of people care for as much as I do Jpopsuki. I'm going to think over all this hopefully grow up a bit. If I do get onto Redacted I'll try to cherish their site, even though a general music tracker isn't really something I'm interested in. Thank you for pointing this out to me.
