I believe that is true, at least for Jow Forums. Forcing rules on a random board, especially subjective ones can't be a good thing. But I wanted to know what Jow Forums thinks about it.

Because it always ends up getting out of control. Just look at /gif/ and /b/ after the fappening. If porn posters gets a green light there's no end to it. Also the porn dump rule doesn't help much. I rarely see people getting banned for it.
