You could have just given the VM access to the disk and skipped the rsync and livecd shit.

fag, I've never even visited that site before so I don't know what threads are reddit and not.

Dude you are 1000x more likely to have driver problems on Linux than Windows and you know it

>pacman -Syu
>reboot
>Xorg won’t start again

I love arch!

Samefag

did that yesterday. apparently you can't go ahead and load half an ubuntu iso from your boot partition

Retard

I was installing for mbr but had my gentoo install previously set up for uefi.

>install debian
>everything is old as shit

You just can't win with linux.

found the problem, good operating systems don't do this

The Macbook Pro with Retina display does not have this problem.

This is correct.

>giving a virtual machine access to real hardware

yeah no thanks I prefer no viruses

You can't get viruses that way that's what the VM is for duh.

>tfw he doesn't realize he has a virus

Viruses infect virtual machines all the time.

wtf, I prefer using my low spec laptop than my desktop

Linux doesn't even need drivers you moron, it just works.

except the drivers for any hardware that matters are already in the kernel

> follow Jow Forums advice
Here, I found where you fucked up.

Are you retarded? Drivers for everything are included by default. There's like one absolute trash WiFi/networking brand that's not ootb supported and nVidia needs proprietary drivers which are 3 clicks away.

Guess you've never actually tried installing Nvidia drivers on Linux before if you think its problem free

I did. They were fine on Neon when I still used Nvidia. Nvidia is still gay and jewish for not having them open source, but they work fine in my experience. I used apt to install them and they worked near perfectly after a reboot. I needed to set tear free by hand, but that was easy as well.

They are problem-free, unless you're on an obscure distro or use an obscure GPU. Either way, I'm not an nVidiacuck so I don't care.

TFW Linux is ran by SJWs but at least Windows is only ran by pahjeets

hey guys for some reason my kali install has a semi-broken wifi card, for some reason my ralink wifi dongle is way fucking faster then the internal wifi, and that used to be the exact fucking opposite.

What the fuck gives?

>slackpkg update
>slackpkg upgrade-all
Wew dat waz hard

And that's how I know you actually have never used Slackware before.

this thread is just that Kevin fat fuck talking to himself
