The notch is just an okay implementation of a very minor problem. If the notch was square, and the spaces on the side we're reserved for the time and notifications, it would be fine. They fucked up by making it rounded and allowing devs to display stuff on the sides.

They should come up with a solution where the front camera is behind the display, when you open up the camera app the pixels in front of the camera turn off thus allowing you to use it. Kinda like the onscreen fingerprint sensor.

The reason is this: they don't have A FUCKING STUPID NOTCH.

The bezels are not the thinnest, but what's important is that there's no FUCKING STUPID NOTCH, and neither is there a FUCKING STUPID CHIN at the bottom either. I don't want a fucking chin, it looks UGLY AS FUCK. That's an advantage the iPhone X, XS and XR actually - they don't have a chin. But of course they do still have a notch, which is a bit shit.

No notch + no chin = nicest looking phone on the market.
