Would it kill your mobo and cpu instantly or can it be recovered?
I mean you cannot clean out all the paste from the small pins.

Our office stations probably look like that right now.

just toss it in the dishwasher and let it dry for two days

no, it's ok. that's how paste was applied back then hen we had worse air cooling and most of th heat was radiated through passive sinks on the mainboard. pcs were simpler back then. you could do it still today but CPUs now having internal heat spreaders expect some active air cooling. so we put the paste ontop now. which is silly as CPU branding is now invisible. the old 486 and pentium chips had pretty nice branding design ontop. but those times are over.

Why is that shooting dust into the case?

fool

It's a very fine particulate type of ground up pumice stone, it's used to shave microns off silicone chips like the motherboard, this increases the efficiency of the electron transfer increasing specific impulse. It's a pain to clean out afterwards because the whole pc has to be sunk in mineral oil to release crystalline pumice built up on the internal PCBs. Worth it though, if you've got the cash.

tech repair shop here. You think this is a meme, but i've seen so many people do this. It's always AMD too.

This can't be real?

People have actually tested mayo as a thermal paste.
It beat the stock TIM, iirc.

Surely there can't be this many retards. Speccy doesn't always read AMD CPUs right. It always tries to say mine is at 80c when it's actually at 29c idling in coretemp. It also thinks it's a 14nm die when I have the 12nm Zen+.

This might actually work since the length of the ssd chip inside can be extremely short. The screw might not have touched any PCB

"normies gotta go" would fit the rhythm better.

SPOILER: It actually did work. The PCB is like 1 inch tall. Doesn't make it less funny though.
