So my Zishan DSD came in the mail yesterday. Which means i can finally hook up my new TRN balanced cable to my new Revonext QT2 (twin DD + BA) and experience the differential output.

BABY LIKES TO FUCK. Man this combo is super fun. Incredible for just over au $200 As an old basshead the lower octaves just deliver and deliver. Im not not a big fan of the tone of balanced armatures but a after a day of listening this combo has really settled down and is performing on point. I am seriously impressed.

In that case I'm not sure how many of these are actually boutique. Feels like a single outlet is doing the manufacturing and then just selling it to dozens of brands sometimes (especially the yinyoo / easy earphone stuff)

It has more codec support and presumably better battery life. That's probably it.

The M0 is kind of finicky as a BT receiver. Not bad if you use it while stationary but reconnecting is sometimes a hassle.

The first hour i ever took an interest in daps i learned there is more to a good dap besides the sound quality. Sound quality is good on most of them but they usually lack in ticking all the points:

>Cross-fade (nice transitioning from song to next song.

>Being able to create playlists, most only are catorized in author, genre etc.
