It has happened to me a few times, the screen goes dark for a bit and comes back up with a notification that Windows restarted the drivers. The system would be usable again, but a few aero effects would be messed up. Still impressive to me desu.

Restart the graphic driver. Screen goes blank for a second. Really helps in some situations.
