hd6xx are gonna sound a bit more fun than hd600s. it'll sacrifice a bit of the detail for a higher energy sound, you know what i mean?
like all headphones have different sound signatures that make the same songs sound a bit different. more emphasis on treble and bass, for example, is what beyerdynamics do.

I got HD6XX (had HD598 for years prior to that). HD6XX are amazing and can listen to them for hours on end without getting tired....best purchase of 2018 and probably would not get any other headphone for a while.

No, H598 are amazing headphones for their price 100-150$...its just HD6XX are better.
If you only use HD598 you will be happy i think, not everyone need HD6XX. HD598 are great for what they are, I can tell you that since I enjoyed them from 2014 to 2018

Yeah, going from HD598 to HD6XX its more like going from 720p to 1080P its noticeable but not in your face
