Also, I am struggling to get into my actual field just as most college grads are as there is a 44% underemployement rate for college grads aged 22-27. Biggest issue is a lack of opportunities plus employers creating a catch 22 by asking for experience that many simply can't get a hold of.
I am simply arguing about one of the greatest issues with the u.s. and that is the inefficient school system that prepares you for literally nothing. No employer wants to hire someone that can't add value to their company. Schools should be creating people that can function in the working world and they fail miserably.

Schools used to teach things people should know to be a good member of society, like history, civics, geography, reading/writing, and basic math. I think they have largely given up on the first three. School is also a proving ground. Can you attend classes and pass. If you can't do that and graduate, companies probably think something is wrong with you. Schools should also be instilling critical thinking skills, but I can almost guarantee they are not doing that. Once you get a basic education on how to be a functional citizen and human being specific education isn't necessary for most jobs. Unless you are going to be a doctor or some kind of engineer. Otherwise, every other job can be learned on the job, or through apprenticeship. But in most places, you just have to start at the bottom, work hard and do a good job, be reliable, and don't be a moron. If you can do this, you should eventually rise in the ranks of society. If you are a lazy unreliable idiot, you are doomed. Then you'd better learn to enjoy your gamma or epsilon status.
