Just use nova
Really, on modern phones a "light" launcher has no benefit of a "heavy" launcher.
This made a difference 5 years ago maybe.
KISS launcher
literally just a search box for app names and a list of your N most recently opened apps
The current hardware phones run means it doesn't matter. Even if you the heaviest you'll probably see a 1% battery saved and 0.00043 seconds faster response.
Lawnchair's nice.
I like Evie.
Read a lot about Niagara, but I don't like that one as much
NOVA
you do have 4GB or more of RAM on your phone right? You're not a RAMlet are you?
>1% over 1 year
>0.00043 seconds over 1 year
do the math brainlet
NOVA is a nightmare battery drain for me
I use AIO because I like having all my shit on one nice looking screen. There's also T-UI for CLI autists but it actually has some really neat features, too, especially if you rooted.
I'd still rather be using one of the loonux distros, but none of them support my phone.
I use OpenLauncher, FOSS and just werks, but it may not be the lightest.
Second for KISS. You can't have a more patrician launcher than it
You do it. Prove it wouldn't be a waste to even worry about it.
This
And this
>365% more battery life
>0.15 seconds saved
I'll take it
Essentially you save just over 3.5 charge cycles and less than one frame worth of time.
Neat.
>Evie
My nig.
This is probably the correct answer.
I use lawnchair anyhow. Not like you have to give much of a fuck about this kind of storage / RAM / processor share
after 5 years fucking lagdroids still use nova?
lmao

You don't actually want the lightest launcher (it's this btw)
Trebuchet is a good compromise between "bloat" (whatever the fuck that means) and customizability.
>Nova is so good that it's the go-to launcher for years
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I just switched to Android, and tried a ton of launchers. Nova is still the best. Just has the most features and customization. Only one that seems like it might compare is Lightning, but it's $5, no trial version, and the dev seems to have put it on light support.
Of the others, the only ones I can see being useful are ones that actually try something unique, like Niagara launcher. Of the "grid of icons on the home screen" launchers, Nova is still the best.
Evie is really nifty, not really customizable but fast and light.
*life support
i'm retarded
Except the battery is not accumulative. You don't actually get anything more in real use since 99% of the time you charge your phone before it dies. That 1% doesn't just magically accumulates over 100 days and then you get a full charge out of nowhere if you run out.
Evie is so much better than miui default browser it's not even funny. I especially like the swipe down function that could search not only apps but also contacts.
Wrong

Essential Launcher - currently using it
Light Android Launcher
KISS Launcher
remember when having a live wallpaper slowed down the home screen on your phone?

Phone with 16 GiB when?
>not using 100% of your RAM 100% of the time
unused RAM is wasted ram
you don't use 100% of your brain you fucking cunt
look it up you brain dead cunt
Niagara is basically Nokia's Z launcher and I like it.
KISS really is the best launcher, it's so perfect
These numbers are pulled straight the fuck out of your ass and you're a god damned retard. Not even close to reality.
