Lest we forget.
In 28 minutes it will have been 100 years since the armistice

In Flanders field
where no man yield
There was a house
Full of louse
Surrounded by mud
And plenty of blood
The trees that fell
The bodies that swell
To remember these men
Who fought back then
We plant these flowers
And the light rain showers...
Never again should young men face the horrors of war, yet here we are.Still, that is a topic for another time.Today, a hundred years ago, at 11 am, the 11th of November, 1918, the war came to a screeching halt.It would be many months and lots of civil unrest before a controversial peace was signed.Still, let us pay our respects to those who gave their lives so that their nation could live on.
Now its young men, young women, and trannies
idk what the armistice is but I'm glad you're happy
Oh, the end of WW1.Thanks for posting.
Let's keep politics away for today okay?
How is the Armistice not related to politics in 2018
I guess you could relate it to 20th century politics but remembrance day is to remember the dead.
Good post.
The minute has come.I'm gonna take a minute of silence, if you guys can you should too.
Peace encourages complacency and eventually leads to stagnation
War is good
>Good post
th-thanks you too
this thread is very nice and important
The poetry of heroism appeals irresistibly to those who don't go to a war, and even more to those whom the war is making enormously wealthy. It's always so.
seems a bit dramatic tb h
like a hurricane, tsunami, and tornado

This, stop romanticising war.
There is nothing beautiful about it, not even a shred of morbid beauty to be found in the mess of gore, shells and broken men.
Have a nice day now user, I have to get going.
Hardly.I would say that's an understatement.I have to leave now though, goodbye and have a nice day.
That's why every individual should read Journey Through The End of The Night. It reveals how brutal and unsparing war is without sugarcoating anything and shifts the blame on those who provoke wars. Not teaching this book in institutions is almost a crime.
You just went on a faggy spiel about how war is so evil how is that not political?
so fucking cheesy
War would be pretty awesome if it weren't for the killing people part.
Nah it wouldn't. Imagine wasting your time getting stressed to death for a couple of whitoids at the top
>Lest we forget.
that our lifes are being comand by control freaks ?
that doesn't change the past, present or even future.
the fake way of change -> get drunk and druged.
This man. The one with Tardi's drawings is good, too.
>Tardi's drawings
Wish this comic had been translated in English or even Italian, but I'd buy it anyway to show my overwhelming devotion to this man. If he hadn't gone full Jow Forumstard in his pamphlets and his final novels he'd probably be regarded as a national hero today.
