This may very well be my last bst picture in this apartment. I already took the acoustic panels off the sides and the bass traps above (one of them took a nice bit of paint with it, hoping to fix that before moving).

I finally have a Shure SM7B, I paid $10 for it (perks of working in retail), but even though my interface was supposed to have good preamps, they are NOTHING for the SM7B. Of course I knew this but I didn't want to believe. I'm pretty sure I'm able to get my hands on a Focusrite ISA for chump change so there's maybe that.

thank you, had to extend the power cables of the speaker underneath the tv on the bed, so nothing fancy. but I'm using it for hobby and work so there's a new project every day

I'm getting my first PC desktop PC in a few weeks. What should I put on my desk to liven it up a little bit besides a monitor and peripherals? I'm thinking a Persona 5 statue or something like that. Might motivate me to learn C#

The only thing I wish I had other than actual necessary peripherals is a headphone stand. Otherwise a backlight for your wall is a fucking must. Any desk lamp that you can turn upwards will do.

What type of backlight should I get?

I prefer a warm color temperature because it's comfier. Literally I use a desk lamp like pic related but firing upward against my wall. It sits directly behind my monitor and provides amazing bias lighting for night time viewing.
