Not him but most likely it was the USB card going out. They included a short cord on the headphones so if that goes out you're fucked, they replaced mine out of warranty though after 2 years.

So you want a fucking portable headphone that sounds good without an amp, is sweat/impact resistant, balanced for workout and casual listening, and is somehow under fucking 200 bucks? Thats like asking for a car that can go 0 to 60 in 5 seconds, tow a boat, go offroading but also race on the street, and gets 30+mpg and fits into a compact car space.
