It has nothing to do with storage size. It's entirely about being able to remove the data from the phone when it inevitably stops working.

The microSD slot is not just about space, it allows seemless data transfer between devices that have it

Xiaomi already has that if you're upgrading from one of their phones. The main issue with the lack of the SD slot is inability to use it when flashing, so you have to rely on USB otg.

Yeah same, the notch is still part of the bezel and you can attempt to rationalize it by saying it's the screen extending into the bezel and not the other way around. With this you have a clear intrusion into the screen for no reason that will look like a smudge when viewing anything in fullscreen.

Removable battery was great on my S3 until the 3rd one which was barely better than the one it was replacing. The 4th one I got was even worse. Either I go unlucky twice or these aftermarket batteries "go bad".
