If you have an iPhone and you're travelling, you surely have a fucking charging adapter or a power bank.

>trusting a usb port anywhere but your home computer
no thanks , i have my AC adaptor, and i'm sure you do too, right user?

J- j- jam it I'm!

Plug in my battery, it's too stupid to join the botnet

>not have a USB condom with only the power pins

not fuckin problem

Public outlets are honeypots and steal your data

>going to australia for any reason
shiggy

What the fuck is wrong with that outlet?

It’s British

see

Fuck off we're full

stop being an autismo and get one of these bad bois

>not cutting your usb cord, taking the power cords and soldering them to the power input
What if your condom is compromised?

Use my cable with the data lines cut out

Use the USB

Just plug it into a human, natural energy baby.

That's not a UK outlet you retard

I've never left America and never will

there's no reason to

Enjoy your 500mA max. Data pins are used for power negotiation.

Plug my portable battery pack into it and plug my phone into the portable battery pack.

So that's why my Chinese usb charger cables are so shit
Thanks senpai

Leave Australia/New Zealand immediately.

does this convert 120V/220V ?

That particular adapter, no. It does work for a range of voltages for the USB ports though.

And they do have voltage converters amazon.com/dp/B01E140XWA/

No, but your wall wart probably accepts that entire range.

realize its a sticker and walk away

Oi guv, you got a loicense for calling someone a mong?

>tfw the downs

On most android versions, unless you keep ADB enabled like a retard, no data transfer will be done unless you initiate MTP from your phone.

So just plug it in.

+1.
i have an usb cable without data lines for things like this. 100% security

That assumes no vulnerabilities in the USB drivers or userspace

*unzip USB cord*

>at airport
>they don't have the same socket as my phone charger
>pull some wire out of my bag and start winding it around the connectors to insert into the socket
>only insert the ground wire before security pulls me away and questions me
>forced to unlock phone
>they confiscate my whole roll of wire without compensating me

If you really wanna go that far, it'd be theoretic ally possible that your power brick uses the same exploit and transfers the data through electricity just like those ethernet powerlines.

They may have saved you from electrocuting yourself, retard

>being THIS new

>plug phone in usb charger late at night
>suddenly cia niggers glowing in the dark

>plug wire into ground
>electrocuted

USB security aside, most phones you can easily kill by sending USB voltage/current over the TX/RX lines.
Id trust my own AC down circuit with built in fuse and current protection over a naked, unknown USB port.

so exclusively apple phones are "most phones" to you?

plug in my charger

Attached: eBO7CTr2_400x400.jpg (400x400, 23K)

Nope, this is only the case for fast-charge USB ports, in which *voltage* needs to be negotiated over data pins.

You can still get your 2.1A without fast-charge.

is this an international flight to the USA? if so plug in empty flash drive, wait 5 minutes, then get a free ticket on the next flight to guantanamo bay

>implying

I travel with my 20000 mah powerbank, 4000 mah phone, and have always on USB on my x220 powered by 9 cell battery+battery slice.
In theory I can go for a week without charging.
I also have solar charger, and power only cable like pic.

>That assumes no vulnerabilities in the USB drivers or userspace
There isn't.
Android completely cut any data transmission, I've looked into it.
And even if MTP is enabled, you can't do much other than maybe copying some files.
Also the MTP is buggy mess, most of the time if the screen turn off the transfer is ended and the files are corrupted.

That socket is not British. That is used in Australia and Chinkland.

>What do?

Plug in the multi-meter to make sure the outlet isn't going to fry my shit.

Attached: bestope-usb-detector-600x260.jpg (600x260, 16K)

This.

Or just charge your portable battery and charge the thing you care about from that. Prevents data leakage too.

>plug wire into ground
>charge your phone

of course i plug my phone in to give it the gloryhole experience!

>his phone automatically trusts any random pc
