My HD600 headband just snapped, where can I get a replacement?

I fucking love this meme. The HD600 has an average of 4.7 out of 5 stars based on 573 amazon reviews. They're durable as fuck.

spares.sennheiser.co.uk/pro-audio-headphones/hd-600

I'm not in the UK.

Also user serviceable like even stax don't have that
You can order in the us too bruv
They'll ship

Wtf the headband isn't even listed in the website, it just shows the padding and cables.

Sennheiser manufactures in Ireland so I'd imagine they stock in uk

post ur oldest headphone and/or atom-est amp

Buy HD600
>snap
Buy DX3
>click

Someone kill me

Attached: 1543291469169.png (960x960, 152K)

I have both, my headband hasn't snapped and my click-chan doesn't click except once on boot

Alright, I guess I'll look around more then.

Thing is: my budget and I don't have an amp to make the more expensive stuff worth it.

What's ur budget owo

>Be HD 580
>Have driver matching
Feels good senpai

Why is driver match important owo

>Be HD 600
>No more driver matching
Feels bad man

>3dB driver matching.

Gross, the superior HD600 is matched within 1dB.

I'll repost in the new thread then.

Before following the pastebin, here's basically what I want:
A full-sized which will last more than 1 year (ideally 3y), the lasting period is important for me. I'll mainly use it at home with my computer. But if possible I'd like something which can be used daily in commuting.
I'd like to avoid isolation, I need to hear stuff around me (particularly important if I used it outside).

Budget: 150€ max. Up to 200€ if amazing stuff.
Location: France.
Source: computer / smartphone.
Type of headphone: I'd prefer full-sized, but I can go with IEM.
Open / Close : ideally close (without noise reduction), but I need to hear outside.
Confort: comfy is needed, and I wear glasses.
Sound signature:Don't know. I listen mostly to classical stuff, and idol garbage. You tell me.
Past headphone: I'm using cheap IEM right now. I plan to still use some for daily commuting, but if I can go with a strong headphone it'd be good.
If so, I want to hear outside (I need to be aware around me of cars and people); but don't want people to listen to my weeb stuff hence why I went with close.

People recommended SONY MDR-V6 but unfortunately that's not available here.
Here what I looked upon on Amazon, not a lot sorry.
amazon.com/Sony-MDR7506-MDR-7506-Casque-studio/dp/B000AJIF4E/
amazon.com/August-EP650-Multipoint-Rechargeable-Smartphones/dp/B00IMKRQO8 (probably stupid, but still puting it here)

Whoah so cool
...what is driver matchu~

When the manufacturer picks two drivers that are close in response so that the headphone produces a consistent response.

>Releases HD 650
>Takes away driver matching
Heh, nothing personnel kid

Takstar pro 82
Check aliexpress

Is it bad tho ;-;
Mine seem to sound good

Shut up, IdolTrash

I listen to all types of music, so balanced? I'm not too well versed in what to look for. Maybe something 'fun' because im not using it for anything that would need a flat response.

The manufacturing process never changed.

stax sr-009

Honestly I was just memeing, I really enjoy my HD600, and my DX3 hasn't arrived yet.

Can't really see it snapping either, I found it to be rather sturdy actually.

If by neutral you mean garbage.

Those would be the SRH1840, desu

I love mine. I have to use optical but otherwise amazing little thing.

>process

Which are driver matched as well, funny enough

1440 is more neutral than 1840 but both of those headphones have zero sub-bass.

Would I not be better getting mdr1am2 for £130? Dt880 seem good but im not too sure about how they look, would I seem a goon if i wore them in public?

Oh you want /fa/fones
Momentum 2 definitely. You'll love those.

That's good to know, I bought it because I wanted a toslink input for a console, and thankfully my laptop's dock has a coax audio output so I'll be alright until they release the USB firmware fix.

get a load of this normalnigger

What’s the best amp and dac to use for the Sennheiser HD 6XX for under $300?

Just like the HD600 kek

HD600

You'll love it then ^.^
Super nice sound, beats out my schiit stack by a good bit

Hd600 is so freaking good in everything else it doesn't matter that much. Though a fun headphone or iem is recommended with the hd600 as extra.

I suppose lol, but id like over ears

Is hd800 any good? I never owned any sennheiser products

Attached: 39hd800.jpg (1024x768, 354K)

HD600 is objectively garbage, sorry.

Get HD600 if you like them then get HD800

I wish Lafayette never helped you, Merica.

Also I wanted a dac+amp to use for headphones and my receiver which I use for speakers, turntable, all that.
So I love it because it outputs both at once but has the option too

No it's trash, the finish chips and the treble is physically painful.

For you it's garbage. Alot of people who disagree with you. But if you need sub-bass so much, that's understandable. Everyone has a different sound (signature) taste.

Oh yeah overears are tacky as fuck.
Gonna have to eat the ugly pill bruv

I always thought I needed a subwoofer if I wanted real bass.
Closest I could expect is planars for acceptable headphone bass.
If I need bass I'm using speakers anyways so I just have a set of floors and some bookshelves on my desk with a 12 incher

Nope, it's objectively garbage and worse than portapros.

OK it's the user suffering from extreme clipping back again. In the interest of further testing I tried my stack (as well as headphone out for control) on my laptop instead.
Laptop results: Crackle on Youtube pause/seek is reproducible from all setups. This seems like something out of my control that I shouldn't really worry about now. No crackle/skip at all when playing from foobar2k or mpc-hc, and no issues with the d10 being set to 32 bit 44.1 just fine.
Now it seems like I've narrowed down clipping/crackling on my main PC to a software issue and not one with the configuration of the d10 settings. And after doing the one thing I hadn't tried yet, removing ALL instances of ASIO drivers and ASIO4all, voila! Clipping is now imperceptible or absent in MPC and totally absent in foobar2k even when buffer is only 1000ms.
The only remaining issue now is trying to figure out why crackles occur with streaming video from Twitch. As of now they occur at a much lower rate. I'm not ruling out interference with my WLAN card. However, the issue as a whole is much more manageable now. So to anyone having to deal with clipping or crackling that you can't seem to figure out, try uninstalling ASIO drivers no matter how tempting that DSD playback might be and going with wasapi. Updating your mobo's audio drivers straight from the manufacturer's website also helps.

Don't meme me into getting portapros bruv
I already got tin t2 and I'm hungry for something new

Its a problem with the M1060, but what about the m560?

Now you are talking out of your ass, please leave

jds atom + ol

Unironically this
Holy fuck checked

how's it feel to have shitphones worse than beats?

Porta Pro are good but lets not delude ouselves and say they are better than 600/650. I have 650 and Porta Pro and I tested them both A and B. The 650 are substantially better.

Dumb frog poster

Portapros are unironically really good budget headphones.
I'm sorry you can't accept the truth.

You had to do an ab test to figure that out?
Wtf they must be amazing

SOOO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 650 are not the 600. The 650 are driver matched.

I know they are but I didn't know they were THAT good
I went with momentum 2s
At least we got the 99999 lmao

I dont trust everything at 100% in the headphone hobby if I dont test it myself

Yeah but for budget headphones I'd expect them to sound... Budget compared to like 200 dollar cans

Also use my speakers if i want real bass, currently have the hd600 amog other headphones. Yeah, the sub-bass is non-existant, but that only makes it a non-all-rounder for me. Still sound great with certain genre's that other headphones (in around the same price category) can't compete with.

Gonna probably buy dt1990's or hifiman 400i's next. Maybe even buy monoprice hr5's in a few months jst for giggles. Heard they're pretty good and they somewhat remind me of the hd600's with the cables.

contradictio in terminis. Sound of headhones like these are subjective taste.

They aren't that good, the HD600s are just garbage.

So budget sound amazing compared to $200

some*

Ye I don't own any bassy headphones at all, honestly never knew they existed since I'm so used to only having subbass on my sub.
All the "bassy" headphones I've used are like garbage niggerphones that have muddy sound so I always took the compromise for better sound overall

I can relate. There was this cheap headphone i bought because some nigger on youtube acted as if he got an eargasm while listening to them, shillin them hard. Threw them away in the corner after the first hour of listening. Never used them again.

>stax sr-009

LOL, Stax are literally audiophool garbage

$4000 SR-009 was rated lower in blind tests than a $200 K701

Looks like I got quints for the first time ever. A toast to /hpg/! I also got two very small crackles in foobar2k. Why does it have to be like this... Upping buffer to 2000ms in fb2k and "Extra Safe" in the Topping control panel and adding in a 90-100ms fadeout for Play/Pause seems to have solved that issue for now but who knows at this point. Very frustrated still.
