also stop kvetching and purchase a rtx card, they only break 2 whole days after you receive it, thats a complete 48 hours of slow paced low resolution pathtracing from 2010 right there! you cant beat that!

Nvidia is abandoning the low price end of the market. AMD has opportunity there. There is also a chance in the Highend workstation segment if they can get better adoption of OpenCL in professional applications AND have a solid more affordable multi-gpu tech to compete with NVLink. That is going to be a much harder segment for them to compete in though.
