is there anything that you know that has a pass-phase or password limit of less than 32 characters?
context: i'm worried that if i use a pass-phrase with over 16 characters then there may be some things it doesn't work on; due to the pass-phrase limit being 16 characters maximum; i know something that uses 32 characters maximum. so 32 is my current maximum in-mind. -- i like using a bunch of different throw-away pass-phrases and possibly remembering them without having to opening them up; and to have to do that or use a shorter pass-phrase for certain things can be annoying; and add-up; since i register for more than like 1 thing most-i-see registers to if anything at all.
too long; didn't read: is there anything that you know that has a pass-phase or password limit of less than 32 characters?

>Yeah, I encounter limits occasionally. Or stuff that think 32-character base32 strings "aren't secure enough" and that you need "special" characters. I just modify the do a manual keepass generation for them. >Oh. I see. Did you ever encounter a limit less than 32-characters? I'm worried about that. I also actually can't find anything that requires a capital or lowercase letter either recently; If you know any examples of that either. >Yeah I've encountered both. I can't say I remember what. Probably something old, probably something made on a government contract. >Oh. I see. So the government requires passphrases be kept short. Interesting. Probably so they can more easily crack it. Hahahaha. Yeah. Legacy Support. Alright. I see. Thanks.
>If I recall correctly both Paypal and Blizzard have a max of roughly 20. >Really? I didn't know that. That's interesting. I'll look into that. Thanks. >You're right!! -- Apparently!! -- Paypal is 20!! Blizzard is 16!! I can not believe it!! Thank you!!

Oh. I see. So the government requires passphrases be kept short. Interesting. Probably so they can more easily crack it. Hahahaha. Yeah. Legacy Support. Alright. I see. Thanks.

I don't really have anything to say this time. I just made something in the last minutes. So I wanted to post that before. But. I couldn't. Because you an only post every 60 seconds on Jow Forums. Not 15 seconds; alike /b/. Or 30 seconds; alike other boards. And the 30-minute time-limit to delete my thread was running out. Yeah...that's it.
other applications don't say that your pass-phrase is secure until it is over 16 characters if you use all lower-case characters and spaces without any special characters. unless you use different characters; such as simple punctuation; alike an apostrophe "'"; a capital letter, a number, etc., etc..
so. a secure pass-phrase that's up to the standard of being all lower-case letters and spaces; alike "correct horse battery staple"; and being 16 characters or less; as needed on some applications; and still being considered "secure" by pass-phrase strength- checking applications -- is not possible.
too long; didn't read: you can't do a "correct horse battery staple" pass-phrase in less than 16 characters and still have it pass as good-enough by some pass-phrase strength-testing applications.
thank you.

Annnd I'll post some more stuff from before. Since there's time.

Actually this can't be viewed at all because Jow Forums destroys any 2-space-keys in a row on here. So. Welp.
