This.
Use whatever best suits your work flow. I used i3 for a long time but switched to Openbox with my own window placement scripts. Now I can actually game without i3 breaking compatibility in Steam every update.
KWin

By what is actually used here, far and away User32 - with Explorer.exe as the DE.
literally anyone saying i3 or Plasmas kwin is just an autistic proletarian fsggpt.
the Only educated intellectual choice is bspwm

i3
tiling window manger for kids
dwm
Good thing awesome isn't a tiling window manager then, huh?
Whichever Luke Smith uses!
>bspwm is a tiling window manager that represents windows as the leaves of a full binary tree."
wiki.archlinux.org
That sounds insanely overcomplicated
bspwm is literally the most minimal WM though
it's smaller and has less deps than dwm
Windows 3.1
use Fleur!
I'm tempted to try out ctwm at some point
Fullscreen apps break twm.
>but Jow Forums approved isn't a seal of quality or something to be proud of
I definitely never respect people more because they use "Jow Forums approved" things, on average I usually silently judge/respect them less because a lot of the time they just look like sheep trying to virtue signal/fit in, especially when they're evangelizing whatever "Jow Forums approved" shit they're sporting.
Never heard of
This
bspwm is the i3 for grown ups

Is it time to start worrying about wayland yet?
