People with jobs uses systemd

Only people that don't work with servers says they don't like systemd.

Only if they want their servers to be easily bogged down from excess users.

People with jobs also suck cock. I guess that means being a prostitute is good.

People with jobs use PC

>*names your interface enp2s0enf0*
heh, nothing personnel eth0 fags

why does it do that?
for what purpose?

>How does the new naming scheme look like, precisely?
>That's documented in detail in a comment block the sources of the net_id built-in. Please refer to this in case you are wondering how to decode the new interface names.

>sooo.. how does it work?
>duuh look at the source code do you think we will show you how one of the most important things in a server works? hahah good luck with that
systemd is just a big cancer, some of its features are nice but it creeps into things it has no business on

Servers are deprecated.
IaC is the way to go.

> He hasn't had to deal with upgrading an older server with DNS/VPN services to setup that uses systemd.
Consider yourself lucky. The only part that's actually painless is the init part (which systemd was supposed to be in the first place), the rest is literally just reimplementing the fucking wheel for no reason while breaking every UNIX convention ever thought of.

any sysadmin task basically becomes painful with systemd.
>their own ntp implementation for no reason
>their own dhcp implementation for no reason
>networkd
>timerd
>binary logs (oh god)
I could go on forever...

I'd like to interject for a moment... GNU+Linux+systemd

*cries in ubuntu 14.04*

>work with servers
I am an anti-systemd supporter
but I can't have a stable system without systemd
it sucks but at least it's open source and STABLE

Im working for microsoft right now and our dataminers runs on devuan systemd free.
Systemd is our tool to crack linix away from our way to total control over you.

Slackware linux is server OS
the only posible reason to change software- new hardware

people who use macs are in great need of Jobs

>not using SMF on illumos

Of course they do, being the overcomplicated mess it is, it creates the illusion of work, so you can spend time pretending to produce something of value instead of actually making something.
Same reason why people use C.
I manage a couple of servers with runit and it's more than enough. Running systemd on a system that is supposed to be stable is a joke, this is also why I stopped taking Debian seriously.

I work with RHEL and Ubuntu servers. I don't like systemd. It's a piece of shit that causes more problems than it's worth.

People who use systemd don't give a fuck about security.

>People who don't mind nsa/cianiggers in their computers use systemd

I don't like systemd.

t. AIX and HP-UX admin

Emacs was systemd in the 1980s and people still haven't figured that out. People with jobs are just sluts for money.

I don't use systemd becauset I use OpenBSD and FreeBSD, rather than a CoC'd Linux anus.

take the runit pill

Im a software dev, and ive never had any issues with systemd... well Ive barely touched it for that matter.

My cousin hates it witha passion, cries about some bug it once had and how init.d was way better

mind you he is mentally retarded.
